I read on another on Boston Celtic forum, that the Magics and Cavs are better defensive teams than the Lakers lol, they are still stuck in 2008 world

game 1 will be a big factor in who will win i think..

garnett isnt as good as 08.. he has injury and is overall slower and slightly less confident.

pierce also lost half a step..

ray allen is still evil though and rondo is better.

but they lost some of their shooting stars like house and posie.

Exactly, and in both road games, the Lakers won despite adversity (no Bynum in the first game at Boston, and Kobe not at 100% in the second). I expect the first two home games in this Finals to be like the Christmas Day game or better. :jam2:

Um you do realize regular season games from 2008 mean absolutely nothing right? And the Celtics are a completely different team now than they were in the regular season. Regular season means absolutely nothing with the Lakers and Celtics.

Win tomorrow, win the series. We have a motivated Kobe (who is playing arguably the BEST ball of his career) and an elite supporting cast. I'm not worried.

I'll never say that just because we win Game 1 we win the series because all of these streaks eventually are broken. But if we don't win Game 1 I'll be a little worried. For some reason the better team just seems to win Game 1. Even if we won Game 1 and lost Game 2 that would be better than losing Game 1 and winning Game 2 because basically you're in a must win situation and the team up 1-0 already stole home court.
