Time to take control tonight!! Kobe time tonight!

I really think we win it tonight. Their confidence is down and tonight we break their backs. I expect Kobe to have a huge game.

The Celtics need to win this one, or this series is over. But outside of immensely one-sided refereeing, I don't see them doing so. This series has been difficult to get a reading on because it seems like each game a new unexpected twist comes into play. But, thus far, the Lakers have been the better team pretty conclusively. Save for some droughts and some boneheadedness, there have been very few times when I've felt like Boston even had the capability to take over the game.

I like that Lamar and Fisher tend to play better on the road. I like that Kobe and Pau had somewhat quiet nights last game(well, Kobe was active but not at his par) and we still won. So far Ray Allen and KG have both had big games. Pierce has not, Rondo has not. Coincidence that Pierce and Rondo are guarded by Ron and Kobe respectively? Tough to say. Can't expect Ray Allen to go 0'fer tonight, but I doubt he hits 4-8 Three pointers either.

I like to see Lamar drill a couple 3's today.

Well, if we win this one, the series is practically over. It should be a good game.

I am a die hard Laker fan, and I hope we win, but I am predicting a loss tonight in Game 4 by the Lakers. IWe then come back and win game 5.

This series was designed to go 6 games at the minimum. If we win here there's a chance we finish them off in 5. Stern wouldn't be pleased

The only problem is that if we lose here there's a huge pressure to win Game 5 just like there was in Game 3. Don't want to have to go through that again. I hope we win tonight so that Game 5 has less meaning.

I still cant believe the media is saying that the Lakers can play loose knowing that they regained HCA. If they give up these next 2 game to Boston, Boston will be up 3-2. and they already beat us at home.

But anyways i believe we will win one more in Boston.

I think it will be similar to Game 4 last year. Lakers will have to endure tough calls but eventually pull it out, possibly in OT.

I don't know i'm thinking we will win, but that's what i said in game 2 and we lose and then i thought we were going to lose game 3 and we win... maybe i should think we are going to lose?

Kobe's fg percentage has been low this series. Like in 08. He needs to get hot like the suns series. If he does the celtics don't have a chance.

Hopefully the offensive execution is better tonight down the stretch. In game 3 there were too many instances where everyone passed out to Kobe for a bail out shot.

Also, Kobe-Fisher pick and roll anyone? Rondo doesn't seem to know how to defend that P&R yet.

I think it's going to be a close one and we pull it out in the final minute.

It's nervous time. But less nervous than last game. Tonight would be an incredible one to win if we could pull it off. They would be demoralized.

Someone posted in the game 2 thread that the John Wooden moments prior to the game were like a ring ceremony which could lead the home team to come out and play flat. I think that may have been the case to some aspect. I felt that the Lakers could steal game 3 and they did. Now it's game 4 and what I like is that over a series, the Lakers eventually figure it out. I think today's game will determine if they indeed have it figured out or not. I predict they do, win by 10+. Matter of fact, break the 100 mark.
