Same story different day. Bigs are efficient, guards are really inefficient. Odom made 2 dumb plays though. He needs to stop forcing it.

They just do not look like they are in to this.

It's just so hard to watch the Lakers lately, they so often look like they don't want to try and it's not fun to watch.

Guess out offense the occasional 3 or 20 foot 2.

We look like garbage. I don't want to hear any more about moving Bynum. At least the guy plays with some heart and effort. That's more than you can say about Gasol right now. Guy is just completely failing. And LO getting used once again by fat baby. Sucks. Sure Melo with Gasol and Odom will = championship? Good luck on that.

The Lakers playing badly and the celebration of Ray are making me sick.

That switch they talk about is going to get harder to flip if they continue playing like this till April. They'll be looking at the Spurs in the 2nd round IF they get out of the 1st. And thats a big IF.

Yeah...

Considering that Bynum is our only tradeable commodity.

We keep getting blown out by contenders people are going to keep getting upset and demand change.

Think about that, 40% of your starting line-up that barely contributes to the offense. I have no idea how you beat good teams with that level of deficiency.

I think our bigs are given the benefit of the doubt and overvalued when compared to the actual performance seen on the court. Potentially we have the advantage but the actual result isn't overwhelming.

Guys like Big Baby negate our size with relative ease... and he's not an exception. Lot of teams aren't immediately at a disadvantage just because we have two 7 footers.

Unfortunately the better team is winning. Yes it's true the Lakers might flip the switch for the playoffs, but as of right now they are not a better team than the Celtics and it's showing.

There's still time to turn this game around, but the Lakers have not overcome a 10+ pt deficit against a team with a 0.500+ record yet this season, so past precedent seems to imply this will end in a loss. Maybe the fact that they would fall to 0-2 against Boston this season with a loss tonight will finally motivate the Lakers to take this personally and go all out for the win. We'll have to wait and see.

What gets me is that the Celtics' clearest advantage is their execution. They click as a team very well. There is NO reason the Lakers shouldn't have that same level of chemistry with as long as most of these guys have played together. But, so often the Lakers just get themselves stuck playing someone else's game, on their heels, reacting instead of acting and generally not having any confidence in what they are doing. I don't know what it is. But the Lakers this year just can't seem to muster up that sense of unity that got them to the Finals three years in a row. They still have the talent to win a lot of games, but it's getting harder and harder to see them have that bigger picture mentality that you need to win it all.
