Thurs. 2/9 - Lakers @ Celtics - Predictions & Comments

Lakers D was good over the last few possessions, except for Ray Allen getting that three, but really that's just so automatic for him and difficult to guard(with how fast he releases) that you can't be too broken about it.

Lakers offense down the stretch... why can't this team just hit jump shots with any reasonable proficiency? It is just kind of embarrassing. These guys just can't hit shots. If it isn't in the paint and if it isn't from Kobe, it's basically not going in other than statistical anomalies.

Lakers D did almost everything right in the final few minutes, just make a couple of baskets and this game is over already. It's not like they didn't get decent looks.

Sit Fisher and MWP permanently on the bench for the entire OT plz :mad1:

We get a contested shot off one foot and they get a wide open 3...... not a good way to start.

It's starting to become a disturbing trend with Kobe. He'll go from having a really strong, efficient, hot shooting streak to start the game(or into the first half overall) and then just go cold as a corpse for an equal or greater length of time, often corresponding with close, late-game situations where he needs to score. Not sure what that is about. When he is on, his shot looks so mechanically and fundamentally sound that you just can't imagine him missing, then he misses.... 7-10 times in a row.

I was actually dreading this game Kenzo and said so. Now I'm so stoked about it. Turned out to be a great game no matter what! So glad Blake is back. Big difference between us sucking completely and being in the mix.

I like how Kerr notices the double dribble, but ignores the fouls
