Gasol played with a lot of heart tonight. Huge game for him. Best game of the year and a much needed showing.

Our bigs won the game tonight. Clutch putbacks in the 4th quarter. Putback by Bynum and clutch block by Pau in OT.

Now that we've won...what would you have had Kobe do differently? I love coming to GD to chat with Lakers' fans, but I'm pretty sure I'm done. It's so frustrating reading people lose their **** about Kobe. What should he have done?

Wow, I saw Allen wide open to get that put-back and then Gasol saved the day. Thrilling game. :jam2:

A victory against the Celtics is always satisfying, always. Pau for player of the game.

He doesn't have to play PG too he just has to catch and shoot.

yea.... but you see how much running from side to side he does to "just catch and shoot".... he is constant motion. He looks like he did 12 years ago...

Don't bother. These people won't realize what they'll miss until he's gone.

Honestly, not much. I thought Kobe played really well. He missed more shots than I would have liked and players that he passed to missed more shots than I would have liked, but otherwise, I really don't think Kobe did anything wrong(other than maybe a couple of ugly/ill-advised shots).

Take smarter shots. Every shot doesn't need to turn into a fade-away during crunch time

You mean besides taking more time off the clock, making the shot or passing the ball to an open teammate in that last stretch?

Pass to Pau in the high post, make him playmaker, works in early quarters. Kobe going 1on1? Everyone expect that, mix it up in the endgame.

Last Laker possession he actually got himself pretty good position in the lane and just blew the shot, the one before that however...yikes.

Shot clock was under 5. Make the shot? You don't control that part. Pass? Clock ran down, they ran an iso...no one was there for the pass.
