My take on Howard is that he's hurt first and foremost. Extending your arm over your head with a torn labrum isn't conducive to shooting..... so his norman, "not so good post game" is even less effective now.

As for not going hard.... he isn't the only one tonight that's a little slower than normal.

even that ball wouldn't come to us......

He's scoring because the Celtics don't care if the Lakers play this way. The rest of our players have been neutralized and no one cares to play defense.

You know you didn't answer my question. Right?

All of this BS with Dwight /Kobe...no way a team can prepare for a game like this with that mindset.

Celtics obviously came ready to play. Looking at our guys right now, I don't see the same focus.

I wouldn't mind Lopez though honestly, his rebounding averages are terrible, but he plays hard. Bynum? Never said I wanted him back or that he was better than Dwight, that's just silly come on man. That's why I'm so willing to trade Dwight, we gave up pretty much nothing (Bynum who never plays) to get him. Seems like Dwight is gonna bolt at seasons end to me, why not get something now.

We'll need a center. A good one. Pau is chronically injured; a great guy, unbelievable skilled, but he's gone. His contract is horrible and he'll only get slower.
People want Dwight gone now... fine. I'm cool with that. But we'll need a center.

Lopez would be crucified here after 5-6 games, when people see his style of play. Just saying.

I don't agree that we need a center, at least not a star one, all you really need is one that plays good defense and rebounds. Teams that win titles now don't have star centers. When was the last time a team had a star center that won the title? Miami last season? Dallas? Lakers? Celtics? Spurs? None of those teams had a star C, it was PG, SG, SF, PF, all just serviceable centers. The game is not a big man's game anymore, it's all quick guards and non traditional PF's.

Kobe fans loved this game. Kobe backs to his high scoring game, even it's loss though. But I understand this time, Pau is not around and D12 is not 100%. Damn...how come Kobe not changing to sharing mode when everybody is healthy and we gain more win first. :disagree:

Driving and passing out to open shooters, that'll get us back in it. Oh wait..

Ok, going inside to our big men with skilled post games.... oh that's right... uh... hmm

I did not say we need a star center. I said we needed a good one. At least one who can play defense or something. Miami does not have a good center, but they do have Bosh. And the guy named LeBron James. I hear he's decent.

Dallas had the DPoY type center.

Good bigs aren't cheap. But, we could just wait for Bron too. It's an option. Or get a star PF.

If kobe was scoring like this, with halfway decently coached teeam, it'll be a blowout in the other direction...

Well we wanted Dwight to play, this is what he looks like playing injured...

Sad but Pau going down probably did it for us now...
