I'd blame Kobe since his man Q lit him up. He played zero defense. The team played zero defense. Bynum & Pau didn't show up and they lost.

Now they'll have to show up against Charlotte.

It's funny b/c Kenny and Charles were just saying how Kobe doesn't have to play great for us to win and every time he has 28-30 points in a game we win easily b/c we're such a great team.

Well, there is flat-out no ball movement. That's what you get with Bryant - a great, great player where the ball stops moving when it gets into his hands. It's just the way it is. And it's not going to change.

Probably should have lost in regulation anyway Kobe fouled Richardson on that three he made should have had a 4 point play.

Not all those were open. He had a few with guys right in his face. He was just on tonight. Even with Q on fire if we make FTs we win easily.

Ok, so my first post on this board is going to be on a lose (ill just say that i've been following this board for 2 years now), but i have to share my my observation.

Obviously some of the blame has to be on the poor D on Richardson during the 4th. And yes, Kobe was great on offense, but the way he plays D bothers me. He always dares his man to beat him on the perimeter, playing off him.

Not excusing him, but atleast he made up for it. We would have won had he played D, but as a team, no one showed up when the game was winnable.

unfortunate, because no matter how great kobe's line is (30+pts, good FG %), it's what he does to help the team get better.

i don't see him as an MVP type player anymore. he hasn't done enough to get team chemistry to where it "could" be. we saw this during his absence. he gets too many of his shots by stopping the offense instead of trying to play within the offense.

we can't always expect the other guys to instantly turn it on when they haven't touch the ball for 5 minutes. i exaggerate but it's really tough seeing a team wasting away their talent by the minute because we can't play team ball. kobe, phil, everyone is to blame for that.

if the ring is the ultimately goal, everyone needs to sacrifice a part of their game for the good of the team.

miami is not a great team and we shouldn't be losing games like this... it was there for us to win.

I don't get on Pau for being soft, but tonight's performance was horrible.

Missed free throws, bad defense - especially in overtime killed us

we should have built a 10-15 point lead in the first half with miami struggling from the field, but we missed too many free throws and had too many turnovers
