I expect Dwight to have a huge game something like 20/20, this shouldn't be too difficult to him considering Miami's inside interior D and rebounding woes.

staying positive! the lakers played pretty well and are gunna continue to do so and build chemistry. the heat will be a hard team to beat but they'll be coming off a b2b from the warriors (a solid team) and the lakers are gunna come out hard and continue to play strong and intense for 48 mins. they'll shoot well and defense will be better. limit their turnovers like tonight and crash the boards. kobe gunna play solid D on chalmers wade etc and clark will step up along with metta and take on lbj and do a solid job on him and on bosh. team d and communication will be solid and even better. i think the lakers are gunna win...it'll be hard but i believe in them and the work theyre doing now. they'll also shoot efficiently as a team and share the ball too like tonight. big game from dwight and kobe as well as nash shooting well again. big win for the lakers against the heat! lakeshow!!!!!

if Pau comes back against the heat i hope hes played off the bench behind Dwight and Clark just bc dantoni would want to "ease pau back into the game off an injury" and let Pau work their center and use his facilitating skills for 3 point shooters and if clark plays well and pau off the bench than leave it. Clark on LBJ Bosh Haslem is fine with me. MWP on LBJ would prob be good to start so hes engaged and Clark can switch on him if lbj is blowing by him too much.

Call me crazy, but I have a great feeling about this game. I believe we win this game...

Should be a good game, hopefully we can continue this short but sweet winning streak.

biggest thing decided our defense and I'm surprised no one has said this yet is our turnovers. The warrior game last night was very evident of this as they turned the ball over and bunch and MIA was able to do what they do best which is play the quick transition game. If we keep the turnovers low like we did the other night and play with the same defensive intensity as our last 2 games, I have no doubt in my mind that we will win.

I just hope Pau returning doesn't break our rhythm because we are sort of used to Clark starting at the 4 and the energy he brings. Not to mention I don't want to see Pau try and guide Battier at the 3 point line.


Also I am hoping that the Clippers dismember the T-Wolves quickly so we don't have anything time missed for our game.

Since it's still the first week of the "season" the Lakers might as well keep the strong start going... This game will show if we are really back to being a contending team or just an average team.

I predict win. Why, first we are playing at home and second the Heat played last night.

Lebron came to LA just in time for a beat down.

All I want is for them to play a solid game. Just play a nice solid game and if you get beat, you get beat, but at least you played the right way.

I'm not expecting to win this game this week, but if we can build on something then that's what's important. I think it's clear the playoffs are within shooting distance, so I'm not in panic mode yet about that. What we need is to continue improving and improving rapidly. Beating Miami is expecting a bit too much, but we should be able to give them a tough time at least.

Miami 's starters pretty much all rested the 4th quarter last night because they put a beatdown on the Warriors. I was hoping for a double OT.

lakers win. they play strong individual and team defense. come out strong and play hard for 48 mins. communicate on both ends. share the ball like last game and let the ball find energy. shoot efficiently individually and as a team from inside and outside the paint. everyone steps up their games and plays smart. take care of the ball and limit turnovers. slow the pace a little bit. play as a team and win as a team. Kobe plays strong d on whoever he's guarding and plays efficient offense and shares the ball to others and especially Dwight in the paint. hit free throws.

Is everyone ignoring the horrible bench? If that continues today forget it. This bench leaves such a gaping hole in the game plan it's pathetic. Can't give starters a breather without sacrificing lots of points or even the lead. All this should play out in the 1st half and we'll know if there is game or not. Not very positive about this.
