I expect the Lakers to have some trouble scoring down low againts Chandler (No bynum hurts). I think that if we win, it'll be through Kobe and it will be close. This Knicks squad is great, but they're not very good defensively yet, and they don't know each other that well yet. If we play the kind of D we played against Utah, we limit our turnovers and hit the free throws, we should be able to win.

Knicks never scare me for whatever reason....

defense like swiss cheese and soft mentality in general. Chandler might very well be the most overrated player in the league right now.

well it will be realy tought butt defense is the key for this game and turnovers for sure ....melo and amare, in this situation where bynum is unable to play, they will score points but other must be stoped and lakers hace chance to win ballgame.....just play good DEFENSE...

Knicks are coming off a really bad loss to the Warriors tonight. Were having issues as there is a lack of a real PG role and depth. Defense has actually looked much better than last season so far, but I fear that there will be too many isolation plays and the offense will get stagnant. Then again, things could turn around and we can play like we did against the Celtics, though Shumpert was in for more than half of that contest and he's out 4-6 weeks, which really hurts us. Should be interesting nonetheless.

Knicks stagnant offense is perfect for our D ... you know Amare and Melo are going to force shots when crowded ... will be a close game as the Knicks will look to bounce back after a terrible game but should be a Lakers win

Interesting matchups for tonights game

1.) Ebanks / Metta on Melo
2.) McBobs on Amare
3.) Pau on Chandler

Number 2 scares me the most. On the perimeter Id want McBobs, but IF Amare wanders into the post Id rather have Pau on him. Ill be watching to see how they handle that. McBobs can also guard Chandler as well bc Chandler has the offensive game of JV girls team.

PG situation is about the same for both teams, so thats a plus for us. I think tonight's game will come down to team defense and who brings the energy and hustle. Lakers will win that category and win the game.

And start the mother effing game on time tonight TNT, Id like to enjoy a full game of basketball.

If we can win this, that's a 2-2 start. Without Bynum. I this that would be pretty decent actually. Since the Knicks don't play good defense, our shooters will have the opportunity to show what they can do from outside. If they step up, we can win it. Also, it's a b2b game for the Knicks.

:man10: McRoberts is not going to be guarding Amare, I can assure you of that. The same thing is going to happen when we played the Bulls. Pau took Boozer while McRoberts took Noah. McRoberts guard Chandler to start out.

It's logical. Pau always defends the better player offensively of both. He also defended Al Jefferson. None of them made a big deal in offense. And neither will do Amare tonight.
