This was a pivotal game for this year. Our Lakers have lost all challenges by contending teams so far this year. It's over folks. All you newbie Laker fans take a break... that's how this org goes.. they delivered 2 in a row and the 3rd is not likely today... Phil is just tending the store... he wants out... nobody is motivated except Blake who doesn't have a ring... they are fat and happy living in LaLa land so grow up you whining Laker sissies... this is the ebb and flow of Laker dynasties. Who knows how many seasons we will have to suffer for a return of real champions... sorry it has to affect Kobie but how many rings do he and Phil have...

i'd love to see an overhead shot. i'm almost positive that was a goaltend. does it excuse the rebounding? no. but i swear, SA has to be the luckiest team in the nba so far this year.

I watched the whole game, but I didn't post in the Gameday thread because I didn't want to miss anything. The refs sucked, but so did the Lakers at times. They wasted the 7-pt. lead they had and let the Spurs steal a victory. I don't know what will happen in the playoffs, but this much is true: SA is a real threat to us in the West this year. Let the trade rumors fly; maybe something good will result from them.

even if we had won...it would have been a mediocre "lucky" win. We should be able to beat these teams at home without it having to be a buzzer beater. The Lakers are having an awful season, thats about it, period.

I felt sleep in the end of the 2nd quarter, trying to download it now to watch the second half. I did watch the winnning basket.

I thought I saw the clock start late after Duncan caught the ball. If it started when he caught it, the buzzer would've been going by the time he ball had rimmed out.

i wouldnt say we are having an AWFUL season but we are struggling right now but we will find a way to get it together WE ALWAYS DO.. its a long season dont panic.

At least the game was close. Tough loss last night. At least we did not get blown out.
