Well, I think its pretty clear for those of us who thought the Lakers were a legit title contender with the addition of Sessions, that we were wrong. Its obvious the Thunder are head and shoulders better than the Lakers.

The Lakers played a very good first half, yet had only a 5 point lead at halftime. It was only a matter of time before the Lakers would go into their scoring drought. Then the game turns and its a blowout.

I think our Lakers have a 50/50 shot at the west finals, but no shot at the NBA finals. They have too many weaknesses.

Its beyond my comprehension why Brown leaves Blake in there for so long. Blake is non existent. Dribbles around here and there, then passes off and watches the rest of the play. Defensively, he looks like a matador.

also terrible defense by the team.

Our offensive flow that included a pick and roll and a screen series for Kobe is long forgotten.... it's Kobe iso or nothing right now.....

Westbrook is 9/20 that's 45%

Durant is 7/18 that's 38%.

Kobe is 5/17 that's 29%.

What's funny about that it's honestly not any better they're all shooting poor.

By the way Durant is now 8/19 that's 42%. That's Kobe season's average.

The Lakers also get flustered way too easily. When teams score an emphatic bucket, or go on any run of sorts, they just don't seem to recover well at all. They let it snowball. It's happened very recently, but it's unbecoming of a veteran team. Again, I think the ball goes through Kobe too much. It's very much preferable to run the offense through Sessions and let him rack up 10-12 assist games--that makes everyone's lives easier as they don't have to pull five-six dribbles trying to search out shots over several defenders. Just a simple spot up. Also, and I've been wondering about this, the Lakers are dead last in steal rate--that's symptomatic of an old team, and that's a problem. The Lakers can't steal, the Lakers recently can't o-board--there's no easy baskets. Everything's forced and laboring. We're basically the Atlanta Hawks West.

It's hilarious when the Kobe guys call Bynum a black hole.
