This is not looking like a championship contender this year. OKC played like the champs. Letting the front running Lakers in the 1st half wear themselves out and choke.

Lakers also don't get stops at the clutch. Their defense at preventing the pass, their defense at the point of attack, the rotation defense, and just the general court awareness is all rating between poor and abysmal. The Thunder are getting whatever shots they want. As I mentioned, Atlanta Hawks West. Run the starters to the ground, do well initially, everyone gets tired legs, steals evaporate, easy baskets evaporate, difficult shots start to accumulate, defense starts spike down exponentially at an alarming rate, and we have a coach that absolutely reacts to such hazards in the wrong way. Not even Ramon Sessions and his +/-'s can save us now.4

I also have to react to Westbrook's general retardedness and idiocy in mouthing "nice trade" to Kupcake. 1) Doofus, it was a nice trade, 2) Fisher has no long-standing loyalties to the Thunder. This will be the Jazz redux; he will return to the Lakers after the season, as a player or an assistant coach, 3) Sessions' age and "tricks" to his game were far more diverse than Fisher could have ever dreamed of in his prime.

Our offense was flowing fairly well early in the game but it all came to a screeching halt when we ran just on play primarily from the mid second quarter on..... the iso has got to go or we are not going very deep in the playoffs.... Too many other options on this team to keep doing that 60% of our possessions and it completely nullifies having Sessions......

They are basically our kryptonite. So is Memphis as far as I can tell. OKC is just too deep, too young, too talented, too hungry. Bad matchup for us. Hopefully someone knocks them out and we don't see them, but it's a lot to hope for. They'll have HCA over us and will stick it to us most likely.

Looks like we really needed more than just Sessions to step up to the level of OKC, still stings we missed out on Beasley. Also looks like Fisher fell into a golden situation, he might end up with championship #6 this year where he was not going to for sure with us.

Letting Sessions handle the ball occasionally on the offensive end might help a little..... our offense is utter crap right now..... it's either post entry or iso.... tonight it was all iso. Sessions can help us diversify that but only if he has the ball.... he's not a spot up shooter...
