When Dwight does get back in the game he needs to get more than 1 touch. 1/1 so far

We have Gasol, but, as you know...

Stop getting lost on defensive rotations, they aren't even doing anything special.

Half their shots are from that corner... We might want to stop leaving that corner.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

It's the result of chasing shots and an example why blocks are not a great metric of defense however.

I don't even like Dwight and I think you're being overly critical. Dwight's job is to protect the rim and rebound, and when he blocks shots others are supposed to help rebound. Dwight rejected one shot, completely changed the next (ala Bynum), and then his guys gave up a 3, he did his job there tho.

6 point lead after 1. I'll take it. We played decent defense, except on that conrner shot. Good ball movement. Dwight rebounded like crazy, Jamison scored 5 in 5, and Kobe is going for 30+ once again.

Dude, come on. There was zero negative in what Lqv2015 said, it's so easy to let that go, it doesn't need to be defended in behalf of Kobe.

i said not because i found that this was a negative comment or to attack someone . i just said it because it s an old hat if someone says something like that. so when somebody attacks me you are doing nothing but if i make a comment that is zero negative you come and back a memeber her up only why i wrote something :disagree: . ok

If you follow my post you'll know I hate the thought of individual defense..... It's a myth as you just demonstrated. I didn't even mention Dwight....you did. I just noted that all of that effort and that stat resulted in a 3 point deficit on that possession..... Nothing more.

Defense is a team concept and it doesn't matter who is chasing or blocking shots if we don't cover for the fact the shot blocker is leaving his man.
