We'll win.

Expecting a good ol' W. Beating Atlanta will be key the next game.

Going for the 21st win in a row against the Wolves :man10: ... that's the current biggest NBA winning streak against an opponent .

I wonder how many wins is the all time streak ?

I am going to try and put the anti jinx on us:

So far this year we are 0-5 when we play on TNT. Let's get our 1st win on Turner Sports :jam2:

Pekovic is likely to play, but they'll have no Kirilenko and no Love.

We had better smash these guys.

QUICK PREVIEW
Lakers (28-30) vs. Timberwolves (20-34)
10:30 PM EST

LAKERS
Lost last 1
18-11 at home
16-20 vs. West

PROBABLE STARTERS
Steve Nash 12.0 points, 7.1 assists, 2.9 rebounds
Kobe Bryant 27.1 points, 5.6 assists, 5.4 rebounds
Metta World Peace 12.7 points, 1.5 assists, 5.5 rebounds
Earl Clark 8.3 points, 1.1 assists, 6.3 rebounds
Dwight Howard 16.3 points, 1.5 assists, 11.9 rebounds

WOLVES
Lost last 3
7-20 on the road
11-22 vs. West

PROBABLE STARTERS
Ricky Rubio 8.2 points, 6.8 assists, 3.0 rebounds
Luke Ridnour 12.2 points, 3.9 assists, 2.8 rebounds
(?) Mickael Gelabale 5.6 points, 0.5 assists, 2.8 rebounds
Derrick Williams 10.5 points, 0.4 assists, 5.3 rebounds
Nikola Pekovic 16.0 points, 0.9 assists, 9.0 rebounds

PREDICTION
The Lakers beat the Wolves back on February 1st, but it wasn't without drama. The Wolves will be without Andrei Kirilenko, and they might toss Gelabale into the action. The Guards of Minnesota always seem to give the Lakers fits, as Ridnour and Barea have a habit of pouring in points against the Lakers (they combined for only 18 last meeting). Ricky Rubio has had awful luck against the Lakers; he has averaged 8.0 points and 8.5 assists in four games).

The Lakers are on a bit of a roll, and this is a game they absolutely should win. So expect a win, Lakers faithful.

Lakers 106
Timberwolves 97

I haven't lost a game (as far as I know) when I have a team winning by 8 or more. I have the Lakers by 9. I've gotten at least six in a row right...so let's hope 6-0 is better than 0-5.

I think we win this one. Their two point guard lineup is problematic for us but not having AK is a big help for us.

Hopefully Howard doesn't get in foul trouble against Pekovic..... he's pretty sneaky with the pump fakes.

We absolutely have to win this. No excuses.

If other teams are doing us huge favors by losing -- we have to capitalize.

Kobe is old.... :man4:
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.
