The block was so sick, Redd was coming in fast with a strong one handed jam and Kobe jumped up with two hands and blocked the ball clean.

That was one of the illest blocks I've ever seen.

Great win! This has got to be the first really tightly battled game they won. Cook capped his great night with the big go ahead three. Chucky also redeemed himself after missing all those open threes hitting a big one to give the four point lead. I was getting so mad too because earlier guys were acting like they couldn't catch a pass. It looked like a bunch of Samaki Walkers.

I'm not worried about Kobe's shooting or turnovers at all. Tonight he had four TO's, but at least two were very catchable passes. He had the big assists at the end of the game, and the huge block on Redd's attempted dunk. He was playing winning basketball on both sides!

COOOOKIIIEEEEE!!! :jam2: :jam2: :jam2:

That should be enough to express what I feel about tonight's victory.

And great game overall. 3 players in double doubles great, especially when one of them comes off the bench. Solid effort. 9-6... now we just gotta beat Chicago and get a longer winning streak!

Good Game. Kobe has got to do something about that jumpshop of his, the Lakers cant beat really good teams with him shooting 30% :disagree:

Remember a few games back when he was clankin freethrows...then he practiced freethrows for a few days straight and now hes back to normal...Well he needs to do that with jumpshooting...alla 24/7 mode in NBA 2k5. :ball3:

Seriously though....the past two games, Kobe hasn't been getting to the line.... I think whats going on is hes coasting against weaker teams until the 4th quarter... I don't blame Kobe... as long a he gets his guys involved and somebody steps up and scores big, like Cook did today, then Kobe can just take it easy with driving to the hoop.

I would love to see him drive more often, but man getting to the line takes its toll on you... I am not sure Kobe fancys the thought of comming home every night with banged up ribs and shins and a bad back from all the haking and getting to the line. Kobe needs to save that for the important games... LIKE AGAINST THE KINGS....which in fact he did get to the line and he was shooting around 60% from the FIELD....

Just look at the clues people.... KObe is saving his body for when the team needs it most. Its SMART.

I was on a plane coming home(and the pilot had a horrilbe error near the landing uchh), so I wasn't able to see the game. Anyone have Kobe's block that I have been hearing about. Also, Cook is amazing so far this year. If he starts he could become one of the best in the league in future years.

Cookie has a career-high 25-point game, 11 rebounds AND I DIDN'T SEE IT. I've been out of town at a business meeting since Monday and didn't get to see the game. At least everyone is talking about him this morning. :jam2:
