Lamar played heavy minutes. We may pay for that tomorrow if the bigs can't step up.

Our bigs were pathetic tonight.

with the lack of production from our bigs you'd think bynum would get more minutes? :man3: oh well..

Lamar with 13/11/6/5
Kobe 37/3/5 on 15-26 shooting
Smush with 21/4/2/3 on 7-9 (3-5 3s)

These guys are playing great
Smush in the interview saying we have the right mind set
He expected to play good and did

yes.

103-97 only cause there was no shot clock and we basically let them score the last couple times easy.

3-1. Better than probably any of us (in our right minds) had expected. I second the comments someone made...we WON'T keep winning if we can't get anything from either big like this. Kobe and Parker are playing out of their minds. Kobe can probably keep it up...doubt Parker can.

Would love to see Bynum with more PT.

We also need to Lamar's minutes under 44. That is too much for him to keep up. Our bench needs to give us some quality minutes. I'm disappointed our bigs have not stepped up, and we are getting nothing from McKie. Nothing.

unofficial stats:

Lamar 13/11/6 and 5 steals

Kwame 5/5/1

Mihm 2/1/3 (12 minutes)

Smush 21/4/2 and 3 steals. Shooting 7/9 (100% :man9: )

Kobe 37/5/5... shooting 15/26 (57.7%) and 1 turnover

George 12/4/2 and 4 STEALS (Go Georgie!!)

Cook 7 points

Profit 4 points

Lakers had 15 STEALS! vs. 5 for Hawks

^^Good point. All three of those guys are probably playing too many minutes. Anyone have an update on McKie's injury situation?

yea its unbelievable how we're winning these games with mihm and kwame playin like crap....i think Kwame will get fired up against some of the better bigs in this league...like against KG, Webber, Duncan, Wallace, etc..at least i hope he does...cuz geez Kwame has yet to hit double figures in pts and rebounds in the first 4 games....but then again...78 more to go....

SMUSH keeps on doin it! i cant believe this...ir eally hope he can keep it up...maybe 12-4-4-2...that would be ideal

HoopsVibe: Kobe's 2006-2007 projection

Kobe Bryant is about to have the single greatest individual year in the history of basketball. Kobe has come to the point where he’s about to put it all together, he will be great, his team will win, and just to put some icing on it, somewhere along the way this season, Kobe will score 100 points in a single game.

With the lack of offensive production from Lamar and our bigs, I giving co-mvp through the first 4 games to Smush.

We'd be at least 2-2 without Smush's production.
