Why am I always right? I said we shouldn't let them hang around or it'd get scary and what happened? We lost. This game is proof of how much we need Kobe. Bad defense down the stretch, not to mention the final shot was botched... :disagree:

This team is crap w/o Kobe. The Lakes didn't get back at all. Hawks got crazy amounts of transition baskets...

Embarassed Laker Fan!

This is a SHAME! The Atlanta Hawks?? We're chasing after the No. 1 seed, and we're having trouble beating the Atlanta Hawks? We Laker fans must admit this is FAR from a championship team. Championship teams don't miss free throws down the stretch, play pourous defense and consistently allow sorry teams the opportunity to beat us. Who cares if we had no Kobe or Karl, this game should have been no obstacle being that we have Houston tommorow night but NOOOOO! Now the pressure is on Kobe to help us get a win tommrow because besides opening night The Lakers have proven that they can barely get it done without Bryant. (Despite the fact that he gets REAMED for ditching his lazy teammates and going at it alone, after tonight, can anyone blame him?)

When we won our 3 titles I had confidence that we could step up and win statement games. That confidence is gone as The Lakers have answered NO CHALLANEGES so far this year and we're in March. How long are we Laker fans going to wait for something that may not be coming, Shaq ain't scoring 40 just because next month is April, The Laker defense will not get tighter because next month is April, etc., etc.

Maybe, maybe, they just aren't that good! Inconsistencies, poor defense and no desire is the evidence. Sorry, one TRUE Laker fan had to say it!

It's a shame my first post has come to this but hey, I have a feeling I'll be making many more like these before things get better.

this is bs. i can understand us losin to the kings.......... wait i take that back. this shows that kobe and shaq are both important to our team and we need both of them to win games.

5 Hawks in double figures. I can understand Jackson and Terry, but who the heck are Bob Sura, Chris Crawford and Wesley Person? This is one of those loses that will kill our seeding. At least alot of teams lost to them. Hopefully, the Kings can lose to them.

I didn't watch (I hate tape-delayed games), but it looks like the Lakers missed Kobe tonight. It shouldn't have been this close, the FT shooting was bad. They better not play like this against Houston, or Yao and Francis will beat us. :disagree:
