Nice win.. It's crazy that they lost a 30 point lead so quickly. When Rudy came with the bench guys to start the 4th, the lead was quickly shaved by 10 to a 20 point lead. That's why Kobe and Chucky came back. After that, the Hornets already had all kinds of confidence and the shots were going in like crazy, and it seemed like the Lakers couldn't get the ball across the half court line!

But remember this, every team in the NBA will make its runs! The Lakers withstood it, even without Kobe and were fortunately able to get the W. This is a nice learning experience!

Horribly ugly [butt] ending. Was it 2 back court violations in 3 posessions? Crazy man, we got too relaxed. Kobe got more of a rest than the fan would like to see given the circumstances but hopefully he'll be more rested for tomorrow.

Games like that happen all the time> teams get laxed, players foul out, and home teams heat up. its good that he played well all first 3 quarters to build up a big enough of a lead to withstand the run

We held them off when we could have folded. Its a learning experience and a win. Ill take it every night. We are 2.5 games up on the hornets!!!!

What makes this win even better is that the Hornets were winless. They were hungry and you know they wanted to get their first win at home against the Lakers. The Lakers completely outclassed them and made them look just plain bad in those first three quarters. They made their little(well...big) run, but fortunately we got the W!

Ugh, look like the Rockets are beating the Grizzlies with 2 minutes left to play. We may have to play another hungry winless team at home. At least both teams are playing back to backs! Oh well, bring it on! It will be awesome if they can beat another winless hungry team at home!
