Tue. 10/25 vs. Jazz - Results Inside - Postgame comments

Postby Questionmark on Tue Oct 25, 2005 11:06 pm

even if bynum was energetic like that all the time, he would eventually hit the 'rookie wall'.

I don't expect much from him. I don't even plan to see him play until midway through the second quarter of games (unless there is foul trouble happening)

I'm glad he was more energetic than nervous tho.

Wow.... Smush Parker... 4-5 from beyond the Arc.!

Pretty impressive considering i wasnt under the impression he was a possible 3 pt threat.

Speaking of which can someone please explain to me why its always the Lakers games that ESPN / FOX and NBA.com have difficulty keeping up to date ( or keeping stats for period)?

At first i thought it was just media hate......then perhaps a ploy to cause casual clickers to look at other games (click around) stats or back doors to a Laker box score update.

What gives?

agree. Its always our games that barely get updated :mad1: Might be because its the last game and late for their time zone. So they don´t do it properly.

wow...what a game by the lakers...very pleased with the starters...only 6 TO's for the starters! Smush proving once agian that he can be the point guard for this team...Kwame although ineffective once again, showed great energy, Mihm was out of foul trouble, Odom is still adjusting but gettin better...Kobe was KOBE with that sick between the legs and slam dunk...but how about PROFIT and BYNUM?! Well actuallly im more excited over BYNUM...he altered and blocked a couple of shots, had 4 offensive rebounds and almost put those all back (they were IN AND OUT)...he was 1 for 7 but that is misleading, he played with great energy, looked comfortable, got position with EASE, and hes STRONG! But i loved his enthusiasm in that interview after the game, he looks like he really wants to contribute not only in the future but NOW...and i hope we giv ehim PT...and if he continues to get rebounds and plays aggressive D...he will be a factor this season

That dunk sums up all I love about Kobe:

Hustling on D, getting the steal, pushing the ball whilst shielding it from the defender, then having the skill to crossover between the legs to beat his guy, and the athleticism and footwork to just elevate and slam it home. Oh man, just beautiful to watch. Only a week to go to the regular season, I cannot wait.

if bynum can come off the bench and grab 7 boards every game this season, then our backup C question is MORE THAN ANSWERED
I SUPPORT THE WHOLE LAKER TEAM NOT JUST CERTAIN PLAYERS: (pm to join) slimjim, Realm of Shadows, KareemTheGreat33, Bballgirl85, DMK, strategos, Kobe#2, Kob3eight, jellyroll49, LALShowtime, Genius GZA, Shooter871, Juronimo

I like Bynum too but c'mon,he's not the 2nd Coming here. It's one preseason game here.He did all the boards against the Jazz' b-team.Calm down people.Wiat until the season starts and he faces the real talent and see how he does.

I know the ONLY reason you are being realistic on this subject. MIHM.

Afraid he would play too good and take Mihms minutes away? You have a good reason :mhihi: :man12:

I figured you'd say that. No,if he takes some of his minutes away good for him, that means he's playing good. But like I said,it was just a preseason game against a b team.Wait until he plays the star players. You'd have thought it was him that slammed on AK47.Man if he did that we might as well make him The Pope.
