:man10: I meant that it will be a closer game throughout with the lakers winning by 4. Wont be a gimmie, but winnable.

Lakers lose... Kobe and Lamar are benched because it's preseason and the Jazz out-shoot the Lakers' scrubs.

I'd love to see them bring the same defense they had in the first quarter of the Bobcats game though. :man1:

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

Well some of the Jazz starters will be benched too.

I think the Lakers might lose this game but it's hard to get over the homer-ism. :mhihi:

Feed Kwame.. ran plays for Kwame! give Kwame touches.

Will AK47 play? It would be a great test for Brown to go up against the athletic Russian...

I feel a loss coming but its preseason so it doesn't matter. Sit Kobe down, Pjax...

Go Lakers!

Well considering we are a young team and the fact that we are trying to grasp the most complicated offense in the NBA, the pre-season record says something to me. It's a time of experiment and observation... I'm happy to see the 4-2 record.

Excited too to see A-Bomb in action (hopefully).
I think Utah sucks and that we can beat them easily. Williams didn´t improve the team at all so far and it will last untill he does. Other than that there is AK, an injured Boozer and a bunch of scrubs - Williams.

Another game for experience for Kwame. Hope, Phil gives him more minutes this time. Just want to see him get more than 10 rebounds before the pre-season is over.

Any news on Bynum.....Is he playing??

The Laker-killers Mat Harpring, Bell and Giricek always abused us for whatever reason.
Utah sucks. they have no one.
Kwame can easily become more dominant than Boozer who is always injured. AK always get burned by Kobe on defense and they have no great guards. I see this being an easy game.

Update on Bynum:

LA Daily News:Rookie center Andrew Bynum returned to practice Monday, with the Lakers hopeful he can play in an exhibition game this week. Jackson said Bynum could play as early as tonight against Utah in Anaheim if he feels comfortable.

"If he feels good (today), I'll have him out there playing," Jackson said.

A more likely scenario would have Bynum make his NBA debut Friday against Sacramento in Las Vegas. Bynum, who missed 16 days with an abdominal injury, said he was up to speed with the triangle basics but not some of the set plays Jackson has added.

i remember watching the jazz play the lakers early last year.. lakers got beat pretty badly, and AK47 had like 8 blocks or something. its was a pretty dominant performance...

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/boxscore?gid=2004110326

104-78 final score, jazz won.

with that being said, lakers are going to win tonight!
