Drew was only credited with one block. He really had 2 or 3.

Kobe just said what I said earlier. Ron is probably surprised he's that wide open. :man10:

He'll get plenty of those...just needs to knock 'em down. Ariza knows all about those wide open looks...

Good enough. A lot of room to improve, but that is absolutely fine!

KOBE voicing exactly our thoughts about Ron Artest! He's definitely not used to being THAT wide open! Damn Drew with 26 and 13, I like the start, but obv he probably wouldnt get those numbers if Pau was playing. I dont like that Kaman outrebounded him though....Drew didnt exactly play GREAT D on Kaman, but a lot of Kaman's points were off pick and pop....oh well, im happy with his effort tonight on the boards and defensively, he actually had 2 or 3 blocks i dunno why it says only 1....

Basically majority of our points came from Bynum, Kobe, Odom and Artest. Man cant wait for Pau to get back!

We seen alot in tonights game. What to do and what not to do lol

Main thing is spacing. Ive noticed that with ron on the floor, spacing is an issue. Also, too many times guys would go on one side of the floor and stay there when the ball handler needed someone to pass to and noone was slashing or cutting.

Film study will be huge, but i seen alot of really great reads by artest and have been thrilled with his passing :jam2: DJ and Powell had moments where they overstepped their role and it hurt us. I hope they get that out of their system because against a good team, we would have surely paid dearly for it.

Overall....hard to complain about a win. Ive been telling everyone that Artest to LA is great and is something to watch, but more importanly....Andrew Bynum is about to blow up, and take his game to another level. And his production tonight, despite a couple mis-steps he got off to a great start in his quest to become and all star.

It's great to see Kobe and a starting center throw up 25+ each again.

oh....and we get Pau back soon. :man13: :man13: :man13:

At no point in this game was I even remotely afraid of a loss...that being said, the Lakers need to clean up their execution because they won't be playing a depleted Clipper team every night.

Next up is the Mavs, who are definitely better and could beat us if we decide to sleepwalk oand not play the full 48 mins.

it was awesome seeing the team get their rings and raising the banner
and even though there are improvements needed, a good win overall

Artest had the highest +/- (+14) in the game :jam2: (even though he shot 30% and had 4 turnovers).

I think this shows how valuable he is to the team. He played great defense, had a lot of good hustle plays, and everything he did was within the offense. When he starts hitting those open jumpers, it's game over.

His defense on Al Thornton went kinda unnoticed. Every time Ron was on him, he got scared and ended firing up a contested J.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

BEST VIDEO EVER ... AND AND THE SECOND BEST.

I dunno why ppl praise the Clippers. They have 4 guys who play too similarly and I think it hurts their offense. Lots of dribbling, 1 on 1 play and/or bad shots (Gordon, Baron, Thorton, Davis).

^^^Yeah their shot selection last night was among the worst I've ever seen in an NBA game. What the hell was Al Thornton thinking during some of those shots last night?
