Damn, that was a gutty win. Props to Kobe and Trevor in the clutch. Pau...erm, at least he made the last two. And man, Lamar with a rare playoff clunker (for these playoffs).

I guess Kobe was right about another physical series....because the Nuggets got away with bloody murder on him tonight.

Refs were horrid...and Chauncey was out of bounds on that last three.

Kobe offensively, but more importantly....defensively was in this game full tilt.

We all know this kobe over the years, but its been a few games since we seen this unfold. Kobe KNEW this team would be totally different in defending him. houston made it their life and had the tools, the nuggets dont. they are a very very solid team. alot like us, we just had a kobe/melo duel and melo FINALLY played like he can. he tried on defense, offense everything.

Carmelo anthony played like Lebron tonight. like Dwade. Like Kobe. he played like he should in a big game situation for the first time i can recall.

so thankful we won, i thought we were going to but there were a few moments i thought we deserved to lose.

Yeah, it would have been MUCH bigger deal if that actually changed the games outcome.

SO glad we had to win in a close game, shows them that this series isn't gonna be easy in any way. That was our problem with the Rockets because we kept blowing them out.

Bynum in foul trouble the whole game
Pau with a soft, almost no show, game
Kobe with bad fg%
sasha/fisher bricking shots
The freethrow discrepancy through most of the game
The fg% discrepancy
Giving up too many offensive boards
Melo with a near 40 point night

and we still pull out a win

Maybe next game we won't be so nice to spot them a 13 pt first quarter lead.

I'd take birdman over anybody coming off of our bench. The guy can flat out play.

Game 2 is just as important.
