Tue. 11/2 vs. Nuggets - Results Inside - Postgame comments

Maybe thats the most important game of the season! Lets hope the players have noticed that! Kobe hopefully plays an allround game what i usually his strength! In the per season he sucked a bit having many rebounds and assists! I hope for a triple double!

Just something everyone should think about before this game is played...

The Lakers, without Shaq and Kobe, beat the Nuggets last year, with the score of 97-71.

C - Horace Grant
PF - Slava Medvedenko
SF - Devean George
SG - Kareem Rush
PG - Gary Payton

DEFEATED

C - Marcus Camby
PF - Nene
SF - Carmelo Anthony
SG - Voshon Lenard
PG - Andre Miller

So...add Kenyon Martin to the Nuggets

...and add Kobe Bryant, Caron Butler, Lamar Odom, Brian Grant, Chris Mihm, Jumaine Jones, Tierre Brown, Chucky Atkins, Sasha Vujacic, and Vlade Divac to the Lakers...you get the picture.

Subtract Gary Payton, and it shows that the Nuggets won't blow past the Lakers like everyone believes (maybe not everyone here, but everyone at BSPN at least).

The point is...team chemistry means alot more than having Melo, Martin, and Miller on your team. The guys assuming that we'll lose are saying that because of the star-studded lineup that the Nuggets have, but in reality, it doesn't make much of a difference.

It's ok to say that we'll lose, but not for ignorant reasons.

i think k-mart imitates teams the same way shaq does except he does it at the 4..he has changed the mentality of the nuggz......grant brings the same intensity but umm denver gets the nod

The KMart / Melo ( funny how everyones mentioning KMart first lol) LO /Grant matchups are going to be critical. If our guard tandem edges out the starting guard tandem of the Nuggets and the peviously mentioned low post combo breaks even with the Nuggets our bench should clean house.

I'm kinda taking the guard situation for granted. leonard is as soft as they come with no d.. if miller plays with motivation, he could become an issue. Putting Kobe on Leonard is a waste, just front him.

i kmow some ppl are underemstimating the NUgs. They did make hte playoffs last yr and only got better w/ the add of K-MArt

Camby/K-MArt/Nene :bang: Grant/Mihm/Slava gonna have some trouble all those guys are tought and crash the boards.

Andre MIller is a great PG played like an all-star last yr, Melo is very good, LEnard good shooter. Theyve got a very good team very deep. Its gonna be a close. Lets hope some1 steps up and scores some 20

owned.

shaqfan, to say that kobe doesn't care about championships is idiotic man.
ALL OFFSEASON, he has urged his teamates to play their best. he encouraged everyone to come practice 3 weeks later. he's shown that he's trying to build great team chemistry and try to make the lakers are strong team in the league this year. sure you can have all the talent in the world. i really do belive the heat will be successful this year, but id take a team with chemistry than a team with a pair of disgruntled all stars.

The Nuggz definitely have chemistry. So let's see who plays better as a team. Don't they both run the floor well & have increased their defensive intensity?

I will say KObe may go off for 40 but the Lakers still won't win

Shaq doesn't care about a championship either. All he cares about is MAC Donald's.

Exactly. That's why he cried after the Lakers lost...because he wanted to win the MVP award.

I have a feeling we're gonna run Denver off the court into tears after we whoop on them. We will start what will be a season much better than what BSPN thinks.

I'm pretty sure he's not playing, but he should be soon.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

Divac won't play tommorow night, or at least this is what I heard.

Also, is anyone else going to the game?
