Win / Loss record for pre-season? It was 3-5.

But honestly the win loss record for pre-season doesn't mean much.

In the span of 3 games, he's shown 3 different types of leadership - points, assists and now spirit.

The Kings ( I believe) are on the verge of serious reversion to their early 90's self. The bench has thinned out and I just don't see how they can compete with the elite teams in the West or the East.

besides, I always say, "As long as Adelman is your coach (no matter if its Portland, Golden State or Sacramento) you won't win a thing."

I sadly agree.

I predicted that Lakers will win Kings with big margin! That's simple: Kings players was tired after games in China!

hm.. I know everyone is thrilled about the win and stuff but lets not jump to the conclusion too fast about how this Lakers rox and how Kings sux.. Like someone pointed out, none of King superstars played more than 14 mins, even BJ played only 10 mins. Kobe and Butler played 33 mins with Odom, Mihm 24 mins. Its prolly better to judge on the teams when both are at full strength in regular season..

Since I was watching it with Kings broadcast, they said Adelman didn't care much for the game and just wanted to try out his young players because he had to do the roster cuts. And that he didnt want to play the other players cuz they were tired.

Still, I'm imressed with our new Laker players.

Sac actually has a good team. Even though their benched got mauled by our starters i see good depth in their lineups. They have the next Keon Clark in Ferguson. The anti-devean in matt barnes (the guy hustles and has a nack for loose balls) A mirror backup for Christie in martin. They're at least 10 deep.

That being said, the lakers are just as deep with young players stepping up. I would have liked to see bobbit on jackson or bibby more. It was obvious that atkins and sasa couldn't hang with bibby. Sasa did a little better. Brown didn't get into the game until late so i don't know how well he defends the top guards. He looks like he could. I think bobbit will at least make the IR. He has shown kobe like hustle and kobe like shooting mentality. This team is getting better at not turning the ball over and sharing the ball.

Damn Caron BUtler was really impressive. The guy has a nice jumpshot. I only saw the 1st quarter cuz i was sleepy did Luke play???


Also Queens are not gonna suck. They still have one of the best starting 5. That rook MArtin looked good, Bobby J is still good, Songalia Ostertag are good. Its not like therye horrible. ITs gonna be tight race ofr the PAcific

Caron owns! He showed his abilities tonight... Odom needs to learn how to lay the ball up with his right hand! If he learned how to that, he would be impossible to stop

plus Toine's fat butt and his 5 boxes of dougnuts takes up 4 chairs making their bench deep anyways

The Last Word: It seems this Lakers team is capable of playing together and playing very consistent. With our new youth, this game is an indication of what team ball can bring you.

Kobe Bryant the leader doesn't mean Kobe Bryant the high scorer, it means Kobe Bryant the playmaker. The more teamball played, the more the Lakers will win. Excellent performance by the new-look Lakers.
