I bet Rush is the leading scorer (22 points--it's all balanced scoring)
Score 103-82 (and thats considered nice) Lakers whoop GS
Newcomer that plays the best--Bryon Russell--to prove himself to the team (17 pts., 4 stls., my prediction)

Do the Lakers play well in pre-season? If I remember right they did not play that good last year, and didn't they lose to GS?

Bryon Russell, I think will play big so he doesn't go home.>>

12pts. 5ast. 7stls. 2reb.

those are such strong opinions for B. Russ. 7 stls.? 5 asts.? LOL.

My other predictions goes as:

Payton--12 points, 26 mins., 6 asts., 3 stls., 1 blk., 3 turnovers
Malone--7 points, 22 minutes, 3 asts., 8 rbs.
Rush--22 points, 31 minutes, 1 ast., 3 rbs., 3 turnovers, 5-8 3PG
:sing:
Fisher--5 points, 11 mins., 1-1 3FG. 2-4 FG, 1 ast.
Pargo--13 points, 2-6 3FG, 3-3 FTs, 2 turnovers, 20 minutes
Cook--11 points, 4-10 FGs
Slava--18 points, 7-10 FGs, 5 fouls, 24 minutes
Grant--2 points, 1-3 FGs, 12 minutes, 4 rebounds, 2 blks.
Walton--16 minutes, 4 asts., 3 rbs., 2 stls.
Sampson--3 minutes, 0-1 FGs, 1 blk.
Chenowith--1 minute, did nothing
Everyone else you should know that they are not gonna play much...Kobe, Shaq, Devean need to prepare for the season. Payton/Malone is a special case because the organization wants to see what they can do.

im just wondering. say kobe and his lawyers decide to waive the preliminary hearing and go straight to trial. do they have to physically be in eagle to waive the hearing or can they just do it by phone or letter. and the reason i ask, is because if they do waive it, maybe he can play in both the pre-season games against the warriors.

You realize that means the Lakers will barely score any points... unless you had another big scorer or two in your mind.

LD2K are you gonna re-open the Gameday section?

you know what? I really expect to see Rush have a 3-13 game. Once in a while, though. He was once 3-14 in a trash game in like 12 minutes once. That guy couldn't really tear it up last year, but this year is a huge year for him, the sophomore year, where he's got to start restoring his faith with the team and start sticking those jumpers in. He has amassed potential and he's likable to a young pure-shooting stud, but all in all, I'm sort of high on him because I'm a potentializer, as you all may know, and once I root for them I give them potential to do something good. Same applies to Cook, Pargo, Medvedenko and Walton. you'll see this upcoming season

"Sitting in the house, I'm loadin' up the pump. I'm loadin' up the Uzi. I got a couple M-16s, a couple 9s. I got a couple joints with some silencers on them. I'm just loading clips, a couple grenades. I got a missile launcher with a couple of missiles. I'm ready for war." - Kevin Garnett

I think you guys underastemate Warriors big time. After a bad start thay posted 27-19 record astablishing tham selves as a playoff team even though thay didnt make it. Sure thay lost guys like Arenas and Jamison, but the team thay have now is mutch more capebale of running ( witch was thear biggest strenth last season ) and could probebly be the best running team in the league this season.

I dont know thear lineup for Vs us, but thear lineup should be something like: Murphy, Robinson, Dunleavy, Richardson and Van Exel. In Van Exel thay have one of the most exciting points in the game as old Laker fans should alrady know. In Richardson thay have one of the most athletic SG in the league and Robinson and Murphy are the fastest combo of centers in the league. And despite not being as good as Jamison Dunleavy fits mutch better thear running game.

As far as thear bench is consearned, thay still have Dampier who will probebly start Vs teams that have big centers like Shaq, Foyle who is still a solid player and Jones who is one of the most underated players in the league. Thay have solid Chaney ( we could have used on our team ) and very solid vet in McLoud along with thear top rookie Petrius coming off the bench at OG and SF. And finaly thay have Claxton as thear back up point. And that makes thear 12 man roster with averyone helthy. Add to that good injured list with rookie Zimmeman, Eschmayer who is a solid back up center and two good points in Avery Johnson and Pepe Sanchez who is best 4 th point in the league. So we should not underastemate the Warriors.

One more reason why Warriors come into this game with good chances. While thay are very excited about the new season and will be highly motivated playing the champs ( yes champs ), where will our toths be ? Shaq is alrady upset about not being given new contract and he was alrady very philosipical about it. Kobe would clearly wanna be somewere elce and as we know Fox is out injured. I think Garry will have some fire, but how mutch dire can oldtimers like Malone and Grant have ? Besides, thear garbage time players are better than ours.

I'm so excited for this - less than 24 hours remaining!!!

Remember, we won't see alot of our superstars, but more of our bench players and I really can't wait to see all the talent we will have around all the superstars...

It's almost here...
