Did you know?
The Los Angeles Lakers are the only team in the NBA with a winning record to not accomplish a three-game win streak.

The good: We have a three day resting period.

The bad: That could cause us to come out rusty.

But I think 3 days is ok. We have had a tough shedule so far in the last couple of weeks playing every second day consistently. Lets hope we can use the rest and beat the sonics. I´m just worried because who is going to defend Ray Allen? Butler is way too slow. Lets hope they make something against him. I said the Sonics won´t be that good at the end of the year and since a while they have started to prove that. I say with a little defense this game is very winnable. We need to defend the perimeter and thats something we can´t at all. :man6:

Seattles' last game:

Yahoo! Recap: SEATTLE (AP) -- Wally Szczerbiak scored a season-high 34 points and Kevin Garnett added 24, leading the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 112-107 victory over the Seattle SuperSonics on Friday night.

Losers of eight of their previous nine road games, the Wolves handed the Sonics their second straight loss at home.

I don't think we will win this one. We won't have anyone to stop Ray (Rudy...PLAY BOBBITT!). Lewis will give us fits. And so will their PGs.

But...if the Wolves beat them and we beat the Wolves, we might have a slim shot at an upset. Talk about a statement game, if we could win.

wudnt it be great like, Laker's release reports Kobe is out for the game, and suddenly at staples the lights go out everybodies like WHATS GOING ON, and u suddenly ARE YOU READY FOR THIS!!! and kobe runs out, waves to Ray, and they win da game. jk kind of would be cool, like in Space Jam when MJ made his come back to the NBA at the end of the game u know :P

hahahahaha shud be a good game, laker's go with the bigger line up of atkins/caron/jones/odom/mihm and the top 3 plays outside and contain the perimeter while odom keeps in check the mid ranged while mihm protects the inside.

we should try to stick to something like that.

secret weapon :man10: :man10: :man10: :man10:! Come on Ray will score 40 on him. Bobbitt has yet to play an NBA second so Rudy won´t put him on an All Star! At least he is better than Brown when it comes to intensity and heart.

We'll beat them, sooner or later we must make 3 in a row - and it's the 9th attempt. I think it's time. We'll overshoot them and overrebound!

I predict that Mihm would have a great first quarter, blocking shots, rebounding and provide pts. inside the paint. He will score 10 pts in the first seven minutes.

Then, Rudy will take him out because Seattle is taking lots of three point shots, and to match this,Cook will be sent in and hoist trey after trey until the fourth quarter. 137-81 Sonics...

I have a feeling that this will be our first three game winning streak.

Imagine if we do beat the Sonics... BSPN (and other here) are gonna start questioning Kobe's importance to the team.

Supa @ LG.net wrote:They haven't even won 3 games in a row, but this is the second time this season they've won 6 of 8. Winning a bunch of games in a row is nice, but having stretches like this is just as effective as say having two 3 game winning streaks between losses. This is how they're the only over .500 team to not win 3 games in a row.

I hope not. If we start jacking up three's, we'll most likely lose this game; hence the Denver loss in our last five games.
