Garbage time, weaker defenders in for the Spurs.

and slava :jam2:

Very true, Slava went in and changed everything. Too bad for the Lakers Rudy T put him in too late to change the outcome.

Or Duncan was the clear-cut MVP.

Or Bowen was DPOY.

Or Manu could single-handedly shut down Kobe.

Or Parker was the best PG in the league.

Or Rasho is starting material for the All-Star game.

With all this new info, I'm going to declare...the Spurs are winning the rest of their games this season!

actually it was that Kobe couldn't defend Manu...but I'm not keeping up with all of the assinine comments :)

UPN 13 has the [Swearing is not permitted at Clublakers. You must edit this post prior to submitting.] one. They have Laura Sanchez. She always has skimpy clothes on. She has a huge mouth too.

You know,

Bowen has his career high in playoffs(27) and now season high(24) against the Lakers, both at SBC.

Slava:
16 points,
8-10 FG's,

Note: Only played in the 4th quarter and the Lakers leading scorer was Kobe with just 17.

I say it's safe to say PLAY SLAVA!

Because Pop is a very systematic, defense first guy. He doesn't want his players giving less than 110%. And because Spurs are known to give up leads.

The two players (IMO) who should be getting more time, are the two players who would greatly help out two best players.

Think about it. Kobe is playing 42+ minutes per game. He needs a back up. If we are going to keep Bobbitt on the IR, then let Sasha play. Sasha can play shooting guard, and from what I saw, he pushes the ball like no other. If we want fast breaks, then Sasha will help that cause. If we can't score off the half court set when Kobe rests, then just let Sasha push the ball up and down the floor. Easy points.

Lamar Odom is naturally a small forward. We need a post game, with LO at SF, we have a post up option. Imagine the problems he would have created today. Can Manu guard Lamar in the post? If Slava plays more (PF or C), that means Grant can start at the four, leaving LO to start at the 3, and Caron Butler as our spark plug off the bench.

Slava played great, and I agree, he should've been played alot sooner. But let's not forget that he started playing in G time...Kobe was playing against starters.

28th pick in the first round(just like Parker) this past year. He was the best point guard at Chicago's draft camp.

G time or not, putting up 16 points in 12 minutes is impressive. Rudy T. needs to know this!
