This is one of those difficult games for me, I love both teams. I was even invited to San Antonio to go to this game with friends but it's really busy at work right now and I can't get away.

Well they have a Kobe defender in Bruce Bowen! It will be tough to get 40 on Bowen but Kobe has done that several time and during his 9 game streak he had 44 on Bowen! It will most likely be a loss but lets hope it turns into another SUCKremento game. I hope this is one of those games where we survive by the 3 instead of die by that shot.

Did You Know?
The only time the Los Angeles Lakers have won a game @ SBC Center was a miracle shot by Derek Fisher in the second round of the 2004 NBA playoffs.

Well I think we may stand a chance this time if we don't commit turnovers and hit the 3 ball well. The last time we played them the Lakers at the 4th got it down to 6 and then starting to jacking up crazy 3 point shots and start making turnovers. I was impressed that we did hang around most of the game though. I think this would be a good time to bring out Bobbit to take on Parker who is more defensive minded then Atkins or Brown.

Unfortunately I waited too long to get tickets to this one, so you guys will have the pleasure of my company in here tomorrow night :)

I can't wait, even though the rivalry has died a little bit, it's still fun to see how the two teams gear up for each other. Hopefully SA comes back from that pitiful Queens game and hopefully Timmy is over his cold. (That must've been going around...everyone at work has it and my whole intermediate family had it too!)

Is Bobbit on the roster right now? I thought he was on IR.

Observations about the first meeting: Lakers had to play uphill since the first quarter and succeeded in cutting the deficit by outscoring SA 49-46 in the second half. All of the big guys played for San Antonio so we've seen everything they've got. Lakers were pretty banged up and were a much younger team. I know it's only 2 months later, but a lot has changed since then, I think. Lakers outrebounded Spurs 46-41. Bryant, Odom, and Mihm (maybe Atkins) were the only guys who played decently for the Lakers.

Maybe I'm searching...but I think the Lakers can win this one. I'm going to call it a 1 point win for the Lakers :jam2:

I doubt we can win! It would be nice if Kobe could start schooling Bowen early in the game! In a close game you never know but if the spurs fire up early and take the lead we are going to be killed! They play great defense and a good enaugh offense to give our defense 110 or something! I think it will be a blow out and i hope i´m wrong!
@kingprince...I´m sure you will not be able to post again after that loss!

Hey, ShaqFan gave me his prediction...

Kobe 45 points, 37 assist, 11 boards. Lakers lose 225-150. Build up a big lead, like 40 in the first quarter and then Mike Wilks takes over, 20 points, 20 boards, 15 blocks.

I have a feeling this game is going to be an ugly one. We have no answers for Parker or Duncan. Tony will make Atkins look like the trash he really is. Maybe we will see a lot of Tierre, that would be our best bet. I think Kobe is going to try to attack and score more than usual, because it's Bowen and he always tries overly hard against him. Hopefully that doesn't mean a lot of forced and unnecessary shots.

Lakers Dynasty, didn't the Lakers win at SBC center last year on that road trip where they beat Spurs and Mavs back-to-back early in the season?

The Lakers won't have a problem if Parker decides to be a wuss and not drive in the lane like he did last night vs the Queens lol
