Highlight of the game so far was catching James Worthy red-handed downing a coke. :man1:

Starting line-up is:

PG: Fisher
SG: Payton
SF: George
PF: Malone
C: Grant

Shaq's sitting this game out.

By the way, minor correction-- the score is actually:

Suns 57
Lakers 54

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

Rush has no confidence in his game whatsoever.

Rush is really starting to piss me off... he's playing terrible.

Pargo isn't playing well either... I like him but he's got like 20 turnovers

I think Slava's our leading scorer...

Everyone sucks basically... it's garbage time right now, Vasashi.

Pargo's got a lot of turnovers and Rush has only 5 points or something.

Stoudemire's dunking all over the place.

It's more fun with Shaq and Kobe there too eh?

Slava's gone out for the night... he finished with 11 points... so I dunno about him being our leading scorer actually.

I'm just waiting to see if there's a good garbage time dunk/highlight.

It's nice to see the garbage time squad in cuz you won't see em during the regular season.

One very positive thing I did notice is the excelled frontcourt with Payton and Fisher. Those two play so damn well together I like it alot.

In the 1st half, we had alot of good running of the fast break. When the season gets underway, we'll be very good and ready to go.

Don't worry fellas, it's still very early in preseason.

And the final score is...

Phoenix Suns 104
Los Angeles Lakers 86

Lakers move to (1-2) in the preseason.

I know Gangsta, but some people want to see our preseason record and scores, especially those who don't live in the LA area or haven't kept up with the Lakers recently.

Is there a reason we are keeping Pargo? He had to have at least six turnovers all by his lonesome. I would like the Lakers to give the ball to Malone a little more often and maybe post up Payton a little more. With Payton, Kobe, Shaq and Malone together we have four players who can post up something wicked. I don't know if Sampson or Chenowith had the bigger impact. I liked what I saw out of Slava, GP, and DFish, though.
If we are all thinking alike, then nobody is thinking!
