Dominant. My prediction was close.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

Yeah this was a great - not good, but great game by our fellas. And don't talk about "it was pre-season" because with the Atkins, Butler, and Kwame deal, there was alot of redemption and bad blood out there tonight.

PS: Was the play where Kobe sent Atkin's shot in to the 12th row music to yours ears?

Remember, 570 online is streaming all the games over the net - just Pre-season, they will not do this during the regular season.

One thing I liked about tonight's game was the fact that it wasn't horribly noticeable that Kobe was pouring in points. His shots were coming smoothly and within the flow of the offense.

It will be a huge help if Kobe isn't put in the position of bailing out the team at every failed possession this year.

Good solid pre-season game.

And yeah by the way, Odom's coming around doubters. Just wait unti mid-season when he's in the flow completely.

Good win for what it was tonight.

(And yeah I feel better about getting the Spiro dig out . :)

That guy who said "you young fans" though was right on the money with what he said.

I think it's great to know there isn't as massive a contingency of panicky doomsday Laker fans as is sometimes portrayed.

Yeah I thought he had a good point too. Kobe should use this time to get a rhythm on his jumper and then attack the basket full-throttle when the real season starts.

Saves injures, creates a rhythm. :kobe1:

Mihm forgot that the Lakers were considered the home team and it's the pre-season. He played to mid-season form on the road :man12:

Seriously, we need to start educating the ignorant instead of bashing them. Unfortunately, I'm not right for the job.

I´m freakin out reading through these gameday threads in the pre-season. Trade Mihm, sign Parada, bla bla bla. I´m not even going deep into that because it doesn´t have any substance to talk about.

damn kwame 6/10 from the field and 7/9 from the line...19 pts, 7 rebs, 4 assists...not bad at all...

im liking smush parker's numbers more and more...11 pts, 3 rebs, 4 assists, 2 blocks!!!

Devean George....huge surprise...10 of 12, 22 points...who woulda thot? Maybe he coudl be our 6th man?

Kobe was Kobe, 28-4-5-3...respectable numbers

Odom with 12-8-6...would have liked to see him shoot a lil more than 5 shots tho

Mihm...i dunno 16 minutes and 5 fouls? Thats a bit scary but thank god its preseason

What concerned me was 27 pts from GA...thats their startin PG...does anyone know if GA was guarded by Kobe or Smush? If he was guarded by Kobe then we're in trouble...if guarded by smush...then that is expected...
