I think the sad part about this game(And to a lesser extent the game against Cleveland) is that it kind of demonstrates that even when the Lakers are showing effort and hustle and playing with more focus, this is about as good as they get. We've all liked to think that they have the capability to be super elite if they could just figure it out, but I'm starting to doubt that, they have too many inconsistencies and too much reliance on their offense and even their best defense barely gets the job done.
