I'd rather watch Smush, Luke AND Kwame. At least those guys overachieved and you could witness some unbelievable, historical games by Kobe back then.

Great coaches like Phil Jackson can get the most possible out of players like that. Coaches like 'Antoni? Eh... not so much I think.

I'm starting to think the team has already given up on the season. They expected to be dominating and now they realize it won't easy they don't even want to try anymore.

Just gotta stop turning it over and on D help the helper and play with urgency. guys jogging to their player...it's sad.

all they're doing is driving and kicking it out or dropping it off when Dwight helps and no one helps him. or pick and pop where Dwight helps and no one helps him

Howard has always been kind of limited in the post. He only has a couple of moves and he has no shooting touch(just kind of slams the ball towards the backboard) his footwork isn't awful, but it's not great either. His main asset has always been his speed and athleticism as well as having a team that was built around him that let him have less pressure and deal with fewer double teams as other guys were capable of doing damage. Since he's been on the Lakers, he just gets stripped(or fouled) almost every possession, doesn't seem to be able to create any space or get to have hte ball in a postion that he likes to work in.

It's conceivable that he'd be better if the team was running the offense through him as the number one option with Kobe being more of a supplemental scorer(Who would still likely average 25-28ppg) But without him being the focal point, he doesn't seem to know what to do at best.

Too many words for a gameday thread, the long and short of it is that this team sucks and isn't getting any better any time soon.

We look terrible, we completely suck, you can see what difference a PG does though on the floor comparing the Cavs with & without Kyrie. Nash will fill some major holes offensively in terms of floor leadership, an extra threat on the perimeter, not to mention his amazing passing ability + he actually knows how to play the pick n roll. The Nash is excuse is getting old but still valid because he has yet to play again. This, however, is absolutely no reason to give the pathetic effort on both ends that we are giving while he is out.

I feel like I'm stuck in Lakers purgatory. Every game seems exactly the same. Double digit turnovers, no transition D, slow rotations or straight up not getting out to shooters, double digit deficits . . . It's just more of the same. It's hard to watch.

How could they pass on a guy like Pietrus? How could they not do something to bolster the PG position as well with Nash being 38 years old and an injury risk even in the preseason?

And I know that Howard isn't 100% but count me in as well as someone who is becoming less than impressed with this guy's game. I've always been hard on his post game, but he's not delivering on the D like I thought he would either. And of course his free throwing is unacceptable. He's close to 60% career. This slumming at mid 40 percentile isn't getting it done here.

Guys.... this is really serious. Noone is scared of us. Everyone knows they can beat us. Dallas without Dirk and Kaman.... no problem, we lose by double Diggys. So on and so forth. That set the tone.

We honestly suck.... and not just suck.... but exceptionally suck. Zero confidence. We are MISS THE PLAYOFFS bad.... seriously....

It's pretty pathetic. The Cavs just aren't good enough for us to play like this against them. I understand and I've been preaching patience in terms of getting Nash back, but there's no excuse to suck this badly against Utah at home and the Cavs on the road. Utah sucks as a road team and the Cavs are not very good, period.

Sure, let's have Hill shoot more Js.
