Tues. 12/11 - Lakers @ Cavs - Predictions & Comments

Kobe was great. Dwight actually hit some FTs which resulted in a near 20/20 game. The rest... I don't know.

Of course not. This is the worst Lakers team in a while.

I'm baffled. Yes I know we have been bad, but we should be able to beat the Cavs.

Ebanks, Morris, etc. don't contribute at all. They are not NBA players. Yet Pietrus, West, etc. are out there and Jim Buss does nothing to help the team that is down 3 rotation players. Nice.

This team is likely to miss the playoffs or be bounced in the first round easily. wow.

Yes, now this will escalate to the FO.

Glad I didn't waste my time, I had a lot of old mortgage papers to shred. Even back in the 05-07 years I didn't say I'm not gonna watch, at least those teams tried.

You think we'll lose to Washington?

Uh, yes. They just lost to Utah at home, and you would have thought that they would come out with a purpose and play team defense, smart, and wit ha purpose tonight. Nope.

Was is on the the second night of a back to back, after you know Kobe will spend all of his energy in the garden. The Wizards will get up to play us and beat us like the did Miami. Then Philly's wing players will roast us. 9-16 -- and this team's confidence will be shot.

Bottom line is that no team can win conistently without its starting PG and starting PF, and with d-league players like Morris and Ebanks getting minutes. Chris Duhon is our starting PF for God's sake... This season my be over by the all-star break.

Not at all mad at Kobe. He was the only Laker who looked like he knew what he was doing out there tonight for most of the game. It's unfortunate that he was in the position to have to take 3 bail-out three pointers in a row(he made one), the Lakers simply cannot keep doing this to themselves. They would have won this game if they actually played basketball in the first half, like even just pretended to play... even just a little. They can't just start playing randomly in the second half and try to undo all the self-inflicted damage every single night.

The only negative I can say about Kobe, maybe the team is intimidated by him, maybe he's making it harder for guys to be comfortable, but that's purely speculative. The team is so out of sorts in a mental and emotional aspect as well as a physical effort aspect that even if they have talent(questionable at this point...) there is no way it will be expressed.

Kobe had a good game especially when NO ONE could do anything. Dwight took some possessions on D off but made his FT's and had 19/20. Everyone else has got to make their shots. Jamison was a zero. 3/10 fg 1/6 from 3 is terrible in 27 mins against your former team.
