Hawks shoot well at home. We need to contest those 3's better though.
Thanks for the sig, Jr. Kobe.

All the Hawks can do is chuck from deep...that's a game they'll never win.

Defense is pretty good....not much you can do when they shoot an airball and they get the board for a layup and then two 3's late in the clock..... :bang:

Hawks go on a little spurt, but other than those threes, they haven't really had much presence offensively. Lakers should handle this one okay.

Well, we ended up holding them under 50. Not too bad.

Well, I thnk the score is OK. But I also have a feeling our guys are playing in 3rd gear right now and are probably getting ready for the Miami game.

Anyone agree?

I like what I see from Bynum and Artest though.

We should be up by more, but overall a decent half by the Lakers. Congrats to Kobe. :jam2: Ron's flat-footed rebound and shot was hilarious. :man10: Where's Worthy? :man3: Nikki Caldwell FTW though. :man1:
Thanks for the sig, Jr. Kobe.

We're winning but it's still painful watching how many no-calls we get.

Bynum had an impact in limited minutes and Artest's Dr. seems to have his meds dialed in as well.

The game doesn't have much of a flow to it and we are not as sharp as we have been in most of our current streak. Hopefully our 3rd quarter will put them away...

Yeah, but it's to be expected. As I said, we should be up by more, though some of that is due to the Hawks shooting well (when we don't contest, anyway).

It hasn't been our best game, but the Hawks usually play well against us on the road, so I'm not complaining. I hope we come out strong and continue to expand the lead.

Yeah the Hawks killed us last year in Phillips and have won three in a row there, so I was very pleased with how the Lakers played in the first half

anyone else find it weird that Kobe stares at the chef's backside at the end of the Turkish Airlines commercial?
There are two teams that play in the Staples Center:
the LA Lakers and NBA Clippers.
