If the Lakers step up defensively they could disrupt the Hornets rhythm and help cool them off. Right now, the Lakers are not doing much and they are giving up penetration and allowing the Hornets somewhat open shots.

big guys definitely need to dunk more, for some reason maybe the knee, bynum isn't smashing like he used to.

on the other hand, pau and odom nvr smash the rim so the soft layups that get blocked or stolen doesn't surprise me

It was, but the same baseline official that ignored Emeka's travel just ignored a shove by him and rather than give Okafor his 2nd, he opted to just give the ball to the Lakers.

I don't get it, why can't our centers pressure that pick and roll? Keep Paul from getting that momentum into the lane. This is effing ridiculous
