wbefore that when smith went for a steal there was a line open it was easy drive and kick out for a three ... instead he waits and pases to MWP ...

I didn't get that. Why over play his left to that extent? Jr Smith actually took a tougher shot even than he needed, he could have just driven with the way Kobe was so far behind him.

He's forcing baseline which is our defensive philosophy but he over does it.

And the weird thing is it isn't the plays. Great sets by our guys for the most part, some great drives and kicks, some beautiful passing to the open man. Just missing over and over from range. We need to make those wide open looks.

I wish I had a good answer that would reveal a cool aspect of Kobe's mentality and show him to be a genius. I really just don't know.
