PREDICTION
Earlier this month the Knicks sprinted out to a 14-point lead at the end of the first quarter. By the half the Lakers were in a 19 point hole, but Carmelo Anthony was out with an ankle injury. The Lakers chipped away and made it respectable, losing 116-107.

Those Lakers had lost their fourth straight and were missing two key starters. These Lakers have won four straight and seem to be surging closer to full health. After crunching the numbers, this game is a push. Given that it's on LA's court and Steve Nash is back, LA's ability to push the ball in response to New York's aggressiveness and LA's home crowd seem to give LA the advantage.

You know, I don't know if I wanted this before, but I want it now also.

We can do this. Get an extension to our winning streak. Especially after losing to NY already, this is a great way to see if the team is making any improvements.

I think we'll get off to a hot start, go down double digits by halftime, then finish off strong with a 6 point win.

soo Morris is starting and guarding melo? what happened to metta starting when we play certain teams....

I expect ANOTHER 20+ point 1st quarter from melo for sure if Morris is starting.

Wishing us all a very Merry Christmas with a victory today. There has to be some kind of defense to at least hinder Melo let alone lock him down. That is the key.

metta should start for games like this. it's just stupid to think Morris can guard him and do anything on O against elite teams. terrible coaching decision and could do damage to metta. what's the point if Morris will only be on melo for 5 mins and the rest metta. is that 5 mins worth giving melo a huge start and momentum like last game that well never recover from? no.
