as bad as we've played..... we'd be in this if Howard could hit a freaking free throw.....

Alright guys. I don't think I want to to see the last 2 minutes of the game. I have a pretty good idea about the offense and defense now.

I am also genuinely curious if the Lakers even practice jump shooting anymore like, actually practice it. All last season, all preseason and now in the opener, jump shots just do. not. fall. for this team. Players who are supposed to be reliable enough shooters suddenly become D-league caliber when they get on the Lakers. Wide open shots that most teams, most of the time, will reliably make, are an unexpected gift when they fall for LA.

The only real silver lining is that Gasol and Howard, so far(and through the preseason as well) do work well together. Their high-low game should be very effective, but in typical WTF fashion, the Lakers can't seem to actually aggressively pursue any consistent form of offense for more than a minute or so at a time and will gladly move away from whatever is working.

0-9 now to start the season lollllll

We'd be losing the game even if Dwight hit all his FTs.

I wouldn't mind Brown sitting Howard at all right now. You CAN'T shoot 3/14 from the line. You just can't. It's not like he's beasting on D or anything either.

It looks bad, but it won't be this ugly forever. They are just way too lost running the offense right now, there's no fluidity at all. It takes time for that stuff to get worked out.

Dwight is def not trying to do too much. jumping and athletic stuff he's known for isnt here yet. losing is frustrating and sucks but we all know this is gunna be a long process before we're really dominating. it also requires free throws! just flat out terrible
