If I'm Nash, I'd be mad. All game long Darren Collison had the ball in his hand and he was allowed to create for his teammates. On the other hand Nash who is a future HOF, was forced all game to hand the ball to bigs at the 3 point line.

Kobe should have been getting the ballots. at one point he was 9-10. Dwight has got to shoot better from the free throw line...50% is one thing but 3-14 is ridiculous.

D was a bit slow on the rotations. growin pains no doubt but free throws are free points...can't shoot that bad. that's one thing that's all on them. Jamison looked okay.

Saw the last 4mins and the Lakers just played like if they are on auto pilot or something -.-

it's only 1 game. no biggie, we'll get the next one

Nash has got to have freedom. towards the end be got in the lame every time and layed it up or lobbed to Dwight who can't throw it down yet so got fouled or called for offensive fouls. mike brown has got to back off and let Nash run pnr with our bigs and Kobe. it would prob give us a ton of wins just on that. it worked for the suns with gortat. why not Dwight or Pau. why not try it once?...just one time.

well i have to say i am disappointed about that game. bad defense and not good enough effort. that is for sure. but i will not go to hard on them and critisize everything like many of you fans here will do . yup bad loss and a very disappointing one but it is only one game . so please don t act like it is the end of the world because i know someone here will just do this. lakers have to fix some things and then try to get back tommorrow and win in portland. i said it from the beginning the fist couple of games or should i say the first month lakers have to try to get some wins only because of their talents. they didn t played much together in preseason mostly because of injuries but they will find a way to get it done. and once they figured it out they will be a very good team and absolutely one of the biggest title contender this year. so no need to hit the panic button like some so called fans will do it here for sure in the forum . so one loss and yeah it was bad but i don t give up on the lakers because they will find ways to get their strenght and play from there on very good. hopefully they can do it tommorrow. that s it for me . i am out for today. oh one thing . despite that loss lakers will be ok

well be playing terrible and losing until mid season. no laker fan will really be happy until then imo. offense was actually pretty good. it was D and free throws. turnovers weren't bad either.

Kobe was efficient but didn't get the line. hope tomorrow things look better defensively but I doubt it bc of the heavy mins and also I hope Nash gets some more time handling the ball like collison was able too

Why is pau always tired?

no way were winning a back to back with the starters just have played heavy minutes IN Portland. but at least now I won't be optimistic

Positives- offense looked very good in stretches. Kobe was great, n so was pau.
Negatives- turnovers, free throws, n DEFENSE!!! The defense awas horrible all game. And that has me worried. My everyone seems to be pointing to turnovers, or free throws. But we won't shoot from the line like this every game, n turnovers will reduce with time. But DEFENSE is definitely something we can control, and control NOW. I remember Miamis first season game against the Celtics in 2010, they came out of the gate as a top 3 defense. It won't necessarily get better with time. If this ends up being our problem, Brown should DEFINITELY be held accountable for any backlash or criticism. Because that's supposedly his forte.

Overall though, I don't think we necessarily have any chemistry issues. Just need to work out the kinks. Still very optimistic.
