I wonder if Brown knows about this?

It's not blasphemy, without Drew Pau goes back to being the 2nd option, he goes back to the post where he played when we won titles. I don't think we're better without Drew (just maybe quicker and more offensive possessions), just different.

We're good enough to outscore most teams like this though.

Still gotta put the ball in the basket no matter who's guarding you, 18 points on 9-13 shooting in one half is pretty damn good no matter who's guarding you. We've seen Pau struggle against nobodies in the past, so I'll take him dominating nobodies.

Our starting 5 has 4 players that play better in the post than just about anywhere else on the court.... Having Bynum out leaves more room for Pau and Kobe in there..... It's not rocket science...
This is why I think if we are going to continue to have the "twin towers" we need a SF that can shoot and create his own shot rather than one that is at HIS best in the post while being the 4th best post player in the starting lineup.....

Very nostalgic...

It's too bad a move to the bench would piss off Drew and kill Gasol's confidence, because either one would make one hell of a 21st century McAdoo/Thompson.

Not sold on that long term, Blake doesn't always hit 3's, Pau rarely is gonna put up 18 in a half, and defense wins championships, that's what Drew brings.

We didn't really build the lead with threes though. Most of our points are actually in the paint.

He needs to have a crisis to hit those this year is seems.....Users browsing this forum: No registered users and 1 guest
