Inexcusable. A team hoping to win any post season anything should never lose to a team 14 games under .500, regardless where it's played.

I was calling for some lobs to Drew. Seemed unstoppable.

But I think the main problem is we NEED a point guard that is capable of penetrating. Yeah, a point guard that can play defense and shoot the 3 is nice, but we need a play maker.

No guarantee we get the board. Obviously there's no guarantee we make the catch and shoot (as it obviously didn't happen), but I feel like this way we put our fate into our own hands as opposed to placing our fate in their ability to secure a defensive rebound.

As I've said many times before, when one of our big 3 doesn't have a great night (Kobe) we're going to struggle on the road. That's too much pressure on our core players.

With the way Kobe was shooting this game, I thought it was a good strategy. I guess I forgot Kobe Bryant is clutch. Shame on me.

Lakers' seaon in a nutshell. Look around the league and tell me if you can find a team's starting point guard play 32 mins in a game and TAKE 2 shots. Oh yeah, the game went to overtime. The 3 with 30+ secs left? Yeah sure that was dumb. But that last shot, you really think Kobe would take a fadeaway 3 THAT QUICK with 6 seconds left? You're disrespecting the guy. And Mike Brown's play wasn't absolutely bad. It was just one of those decisions you have to make on whether to go for the FT offensive board or launch a quick one and possibly get a rebound if it missed.

this shows you why we need fresh blood . we need a true pg , we need a sf who brings it every night and we need a scorer from the bench who could also score away from home. so folks tell me how can we win on the road against teams like okc or dallas or san antomio if we are not able to win in detroit one of the worst teams this year. the fo has to do moves if we really want compete. but instead it looks like they wanna try the homerun deal which never will happen.man i am so pissed right now.
