Tues. 3/6 - Lakers @ Pistons - Predictions & Comments

Inexcusable. A team hoping to win any post season anything should never lose to a team 14 games under .500, regardless where it's played.

You wanted the Lakers to draw a play for a lob to bynum before the first OT. I mean, come on man.

I was calling for some lobs to Drew. Seemed unstoppable.

But I think the main problem is we NEED a point guard that is capable of penetrating. Yeah, a point guard that can play defense and shoot the 3 is nice, but we need a play maker.

He could have easily been in the 40 pt area tonight. Worthy definitely has a legitimate gripe there.

what ? are you serious ??? this is a big deal. every game counts going towards the playoff. and loosing against the pistons is not to accept . i am so pissed right now. every other elite team what lakers are calling wouldn t lose that game that is for sure.we were in great position to climb the ladder but instead loose to the f.... pistons and loose ground in the playoff race. so you tell us it isn t a big deal ???? you must be kidding. again it is a big deal.

This one is on Mike Brown. I'd rather they foul Kobe, make one and miss the 2nd one and go for an offensive rebound.

No guarantee we get the board. Obviously there's no guarantee we make the catch and shoot (as it obviously didn't happen), but I feel like this way we put our fate into our own hands as opposed to placing our fate in their ability to secure a defensive rebound.

As I've said many times before, when one of our big 3 doesn't have a great night (Kobe) we're going to struggle on the road. That's too much pressure on our core players.

Yes, lets blame every f*** thing on Mike Brown. Its not like Kobe hasn't taken stupid shots before. Its all on Mike Brown .

With the way Kobe was shooting this game, I thought it was a good strategy. I guess I forgot Kobe Bryant is clutch. Shame on me.

No you were calling for 1 lob to Drew with 8 secs to go 2 down after time out. Don't try that.

That wasn't a reply to you. It was a comment on how we should have played during the 1st OT.

I was replying to Uncle_Meat's comment on page 34. I guess I should have quoted him. That's on me.

Lakers' seaon in a nutshell. Look around the league and tell me if you can find a team's starting point guard play 32 mins in a game and TAKE 2 shots. Oh yeah, the game went to overtime. That is how much Kobe respects Fisher. Depressing, just as a Laker fan though. It is still just a game. Umm, Mitch...

If the Lakers can't get a better 3pt shot than that off an inbound play.. Kobe dragging a defender around running to the passer LOL.. this team is doomed.

That was horrible bad... just terrible.

The 3 with 30+ secs left? Yeah sure that was dumb. But that last shot, you really think Kobe would take a fadeaway 3 THAT QUICK with 6 seconds left? You're disrespecting the guy. And Mike Brown's play wasn't absolutely bad. It was just one of those decisions you have to make on whether to go for the FT offensive board or launch a quick one and possibly get a rebound if it missed.

this shows you why we need fresh blood . we need a true pg , we need a sf who brings it every night and we need a scorer from the bench who could also score away from home. so folks tell me how can we win on the road against teams like okc or dallas or san antomio if we are not able to win in detroit one of the worst teams this year. the fo has to do moves if we really want compete. but instead it looks like they wanna try the homerun deal which never will happen.man i am so pissed right now. :mad1: :mad1:

He's absolutely right on this. Brown is afraid to temper Kobe and so would be another PG not named Chris, Deron or Rajon.
