Well, usually I would say "it's finally here", but it feels like we just won it all the other day, maybe because USA basketball gave me some summer basketball. Anyway, ring night is here, another banner will be raised, the basketball game will kinda take a backseat to that celebration, I kinda don't even care if we win. But, I'd like to see what we look like actually trying, if Kobe is better than he's letting on, if Pau will start playing defense, etc.., should be fun.

I'm hoping for a statement to be made by the two time defending champs.

But I'm expecting a tough game that the Lakers pull out in the fourth. I am expecting a sub-par night for Kobe because of his knee, Pau will have a tough time being the only post threat against Scola and Yao. If Lamar, Artest, Fish, and the bench mob come to play this game could go a lot easier.

I don't know about this one.

Reasons we could lose: We're not fully healthy and getting the rings, so emotions will be high.

Reasons we could win: Getting the ring could help us make a statement, the new guys won't let us let up, our improved bench out plays Houston's, just making a statement period, and Yao being limited to 24 minutes.

I have no idea who wins this one for the reasons that others gave: we might be too injured and high on emotions with the ring ceremony. They always play us tough so a strong effort against us from them is a given.

^ Overrated or not, he did hit make the most 3's in the NBA and is fast as hell. The latter which has given us problems before, and the former can burn us if Fish continues to leave is man to help out, even when his help isn't needed at times.

I fully expect a loss. That is if Kobe's current status as reported to be believed.

Excited to see 'em get the rings and the unveiling of the banner for the most part.. Hoping they win too of course, but if not, it ain't the end of the world.. The banner is the one that's gonna give me chills though.. That stuff NEVER gets old..
