Blake has been head and shoulders and miles ahead of Fisher this year so far and hopefully going forward.

It might have been a couple of games ago, but I seen Steve miss some open shots, but I was encouraged because he was actually taking those shots with confidence and no hesitation. Now his last couple of shots in this fourth quarter have went in.

Yeah. It's a real cop-out argument whenever someone labels a fan "anti-Kobe" simply because he disagrees with Bryant's decision making and is thinking of the team first. I'm the same way, as much as it'd be great to see Kobe further his legacy, the team comes first.

lol @ "cop out."

Obviously you haven't been around here long enough.

I've shat on Kobe when he deserved it (trying to demand a trade. etc.).

I'm ALWAYS Laker first...for 35 years. Don't come at me like that.

I already said his decision making was suspect after the last couple of games.

But no way in hell am I about to put the crown on Drew...and that's where you jumped in...

No one is trying to "crown" Drew, you're just exaggerating things as if we were in order to prop up your defense of Kobe. All we're saying is that Bynum should be #1 on offense BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT'S WORKING OUT ON THE FLOOR. What do you not understand about this? When folks use the term "Bynum's team", it's almost certainly hyperbole, if it's not, then by all means feel free to argue endlessly with those individuals, but for the most part, the vast majority of us pushing for Drew to get the ball are simply in favor of him being the #1 option on offense because IT WORKS.

Legendary wrote:First of all, I said it was too early to coronate. No one is cherry picking s***. Kobe deserves the benefit of the doubt no matter what happened in the last couple of days, months, or years. Or have you forgot about what he's done for this team? If it's the marriage, the wrist, the car ran out of gas on the way to the game....I'll give him the benefit of the doubt until it's conclusive that someone else on this team deserves the #1 spot. It sure as hell isn't Drew after 6 games in....

If Kobe wants to shoot us out of 2 games...three games... so f******* what? I'm not going to sit here and say this is Bynum's team? lol...

WTF?

Or should I do what you're doing and get caught up in Drew's magnificent performance here in in January?

The point is that life on the court would be much more simple if the Lakers simply chose to use what works as opposed to forcing things in order to satisfy #24's ego. Your post speaks volumes about your personal concerns as a fan. You care more about what Bryant wants, what Bryant gets and what Bryant's legacy looks like than you do the team and that's fine, but your blatant exaggeration of what those of us who have been critical of Kobe's decision-making are hoping for is just pathetic. I'm not saying it's Bynum's team, just that he should be #1 on offense, especially with Bryant injured ATM.

As for you not caring if Kobe wants to "shoot us out of games", thank God you're not a member of Lakers management or the coaching staff. You play to win the game, simple as that.

You need to update where you jumped into the conversation then, because I had an issue with dude saying this was Bynum's team...SERIOUSLY?

And I'm going to ignore your presumptions about how or where I care about Kobe's legacy...as I said...I'm Laker team first...Check the record. If Kobe does well, I'm all for that, because he's a Laker...not the other way around.

I root for Kobe BECAUSE he's a Laker. If he got traded tomorrow, I wouldn't stop rooting for the team I've been for my entire life...

But you wouldn't know that because...whatever.

And as I said...let him shoot us out a few games...who gives a s***. Until it becomes detrimental to the team in the long run, I'm not going to give a f****.

another good timeout by brown (i'm sounding like hubie). the offense has gotten out of control. gotta bring back pau or kobe (gulp on the latter). drew needs a breather, but i'm not sure the lakers can afford to take him out.
