If Kobe shoots more than Gasol and Bynum combined, and takes bad shots at a poor perecentage, and Martin goes off because Kobe is not playing D, I hope that Brown goes off on him, benches him, and sends the right message that every players is accountable for playing the right way.

If not, Brown will lose Gasol, Bynum, and other players who will never buy in to "hero" ball.

The game should not be close -- I don't care what Lowry is doing. Kobe needs to shoot less, play more D, and accept a role on this team -- which is to trust his teammates, lead by example on Defense, and shoot within the offense, and pass out of double teams. He is still option 1, but his role needs to be scaled back. Period.

I expect Lowry to go off, but at the same time I expect a win. If Kobe plays smart basketball and Andrew doesn't get in foul trouble this game should not be close. We really need to start winning more games because as the season progresses the season will only get tougher.

Kobe triple double.

Bynum looks great, Pau looks good, Fish looks awful.

Lakers win 95-88. :jam2:

Bynum vs Dalembert, Pau vs Scola, and Kobe vs Martin

Should be a good game to watch.

So i guess Lowry will eat Fisher for a dinner, and score about 20 or 25+, and if our bigs don't take the center stage of the game, we are really screwed, and i didn't even mention Kobe's wild shots, i hope that he will not take more than 20 shots, and at least 40% shooting, and of course our bench must step up!

I get it, you're ticked off at Kobe, but you are dreaming if you think there is even a remote possibility of Kobe being benched. Certain players in the history of the game reached a level that puts them beyond benching. You don't bench Kareem, Magic, Jordan, Bird, Shaq, Duncan, etc., and you don't bench Kobe. You just don't. And Mike Brown is smart enough to know that.

Kobe will bounce back and could go for a trip-double like Doc Brown said above
Bynum to dominate the game inside
do you think there is any chance Blake starts over D-Fish?

I don't mean "bench" like an entire game, but take him out after he ball hogs and fails to get back on D.

No player is above winning. If he is hurt, playing poorly, playin selfishly, whatever, and hurting the team -- he can be pulled for stretches. Otherwise the message is that winning be damned, as long as Kobe has a chance to get his stats and play hero ball.

Fans don't respect that type of play. And those saying it was an outlier are missing the point -- he should not have been shooting those types of shots and totally ignoring his team AND NOT PLAYING defense too. No one bad game -- just a terribly selfish game. Big difference.

If the game is on NBATV, it gets pulled off League Pass right?

My cable guide still lists League Pass as showing the game.

Yeah, it's pulled off LP. Not sure why it's still listed.

Josh McRoberts is inactive tonight. Left big toe sprain is bothering him; he remains listed as day-to-day.

:bang: :bang:

Metta plays backup 4, Ebanks slides to backup 3, if Luke Walton gets in the game I will flip.

We should win this if we set up our plays properly and play calm.

Rockets can upset us, though, if they play good overall team ball and get Kobe frustrated.

If they can stick to a 4 man big rotation of Bynum, Pau, Murphy, Metta we will be fine IMO.

But no matter how you slice it, its never good when injuries occur even minor ones that cause someone to miss one or two games.

Kobe gets hurt, McBobs gets hurt, Walton is fresh and healthy, Fish is fresh and healthy. :man2:
