Tues. 4/12 - Lakers vs Spurs - Predictions & Comments

As if the team hasn't won without Bynum before.. they certainly haven't been winning with him of late anyway. I don't think he'll be out long with this injury.

Quit screwing around and go make some damn shots.

You don't walk off the court on your own power if you tear an ACL

he is in a brace. and you don't know what you are talking about. Philip Rivers played a playoff game against the Pats with a torn ACL.

I'm literally sick to my stomach right now. I couldn't care less about this game. I really hope Drew is alright. Can't catch a break.

Aww dude don't say that. :disagree: But I think I have seen people walk off the court on their own and it turned out being an ACL. Either way :bang:

Really? You guys are ready to not root for and give up on the purple and gold that quickly?

I mean honestly without bynum there is no way I see us winning a ring either. So if we get bounced I'd be rooting hard for the Bulls and Thunder too.

You mean the two turnovers he has? With one being a charge?

Phil is playing around... Stu Lantz said, "If they wait to throw the 'playoff switch', there might not be anything there!" Put that in you hash pipe and smoke it! That will be the best high you get from this team this year and Phil is in a disarray but I'm holding out that he can muster the leadership etc. to bring this in but he has not always been successful... whatever.. Martinis anyone?

I will clarify: if we lose in the playoffs, then quote what I said earlier.

The Lakers are messing around again, the refs are doing their usual bad job, the Spurs are playing without their core and tied with us at the half, we might lose six games in a row, and we're waiting on news about Drew's injury once more. All of this on my 35th birthday. Man, I feel old right now. :man5:
Thanks for the sig, Jr. Kobe.

So you guys would prefer Miami or the Celtics to win? I get it is lakers or nothing but if you are rooting against other teams(miami/boston) you got to root for some team to supplant them.

Yes you can. I played an entire half of football in high school on a torn ACL.

Anatomically impossible. Do you understand the function of the ACL?

Anyways, hyperextensions don't result in torn ACLs, he might have a bone bruise like Pau.

ACL tears happen on twisting type knee injuries...

Who cares whether or not it's possible to walk away on your own power with a torn ACL? The fact remains that he WAS able to walk on his own which leaves open the possibility of the injury not being too bad. That's obviously a much better situation then if he had went down and had to leave on a stretcher.

Guys, go to bed. this game doesn't matter. I can tell you right now -- the Lakers will win tonight, but lose by 25 tomorrow night, esp without Drew.

No way they will win tomorrow -- in that environment, with an energized team and crowd.

Pop chose to do this tonight because the Spurt OWN OWN OWN the Ok City Thunder.

Had the Spurs won tonight, the Lakers may have very well finised 4, thus playing the Spurs in the second round.

Pop did not want that.

But again, NO WAY the Lakers win tomorrow. Not even close.

bruddahman will be bringing some flavor to these boards (which has turned into a total b****fest lately with the return of the clowns who only pop up from the bushes when the Lakers lose) in the form of "Third Person Tuesday and Thursday". He's also considering "Meme Monday" and "F I Hate That Poster Friday".

I dont care how dominant Bynum is or how his injuries aren't his fault....we need someone more reliable or Pau needs to step the F up and play some F"en Defense and protecte the paint!!!!

don't want Lebron to get a ring
don't want Boston to get #18 and Shaq get #5
don't want Duncan to get #5

so ya if we lose, I would def root for OKC and CHI
