No way. If CHI plays BOS or MIA... you better be SURE I'll actively root for Chicago.

The fact remains that he WAS able to walk on his own which leaves open the possibility of the injury not being too bad. That's obviously a much better situation then if he had went down and had to leave on a stretcher.

I don't think it means much. I think it was Michael Redd who about a season ago walked away on his own weight but ended up having a torn MCL (or maybe it was his ACL) and ended his season.

Yes you can. I played an entire half of football in high school on a torn ACL.
Anatomically impossible. Do you understand the function of the ACL?

Anyways, hyperextensions don't result in torn ACLs, he might have a bone bruise like Pau.

ACL tears happen on twisting type knee injuries...
Wrong. Especially in a brace. The slightest twist or firing of the quad not in time with the knee tendons can cause a tear. When you hyperextend, your quad tries to overcompensate and can cause a twist along with the trauma and cause a tear to either the ACL or the PCL.

This just makes me hate this team so much more for not trying in some of these late games against Utah and GS. Unbelievable.

Lamar with the starters is going to make us more dynamic offensively. The cost is going to be on the defensive end with no true anchor in the paint.

Really?

Well, that's irrelevant. Because we have Luke who will play some extra minutes and deliver.

I know Pau isn't a 'bang bodies' type of post defender, but I am so sick of his hand tag defense.

That's the new way to play the game, but the refs and the fans haven't adjusted yet. :mhihi:

If we pick up Eddy Curry, Brian Butch and Brian Zoubek with Theo, Joe Smith and Caracter, we can go hockey style subsitutions and we will be fine.

"They are without Kobe Bryant now..."

Who cares? We have Shannon Brown. And Luke is in the game.

At this point, it's almost as if the Lakers were treating that 17-1 run as though it was the playoffs. "16 to win" type mentality. They're in the offseason now.
