That was absolutely disgusting basketball.

Still a very winnable game if we get our act together and play smart basketball. We'll see which Lakers team shows up after half time.

Awful. Pathetic transition defense. Constant turnovers. Forgot how to make a pass.

Yea I like how they tried to make it seem like the Spurs were the only ones effected by that. The Lakers took advantage man. :man10:

Sessions/Blake backcourt is trash defensively.

We are getting absolutely shredded out there... I don't remember the last time a SA player shot with a Laker within 5' of him.

Turnover..... Layup
Turnover..... Jumper
Turnover....... 3 pointer

This is what they've done all year with their bench..... I wish our ownership would take the approach they do and actually find some bench players and get a coach that will play them....

What more can be done w/o Kobe? It's been an impressive run so far. Spurs are going to return the favor tonight it seems. Kobe needs to get back real soon or sacrifice p.o. seed... this team will endure because they have shown it so we'll just have to hope for others in chase to fall behind us...

It was 41-39 LAL with 5:42 to play. In the final 6 minutes, the Spurs made 11 straight FG's before a miss, good for 24 points.

Not to mention on offense, for some reason not known to humans with brains, Blake runs the point and Sessions stands around. :disagree:

We controlled the tempo against San Antonio on the road. Tonight, San Antonio is pushing the pace and controlling the tempo.

Meh -- We all expected a massacre in SA last time. The Spurs were just cold that night, plain and simple. And Ron was hot.

The Spurs are way way way too deep for the Lakers. the Worst Bench in the League is rearing its ugly head -- no real back up SG and Bynum not running the floor hurt too. Spurs are in tune and hot -- we are helping them steal home court from the thunder.

Sessions really needs to focus on D. Just awful.

Well.... to be fair.... if we had the exact same shots they did we'd still miss 6 of them.....

Gasol is not without blame, his trying to force the ball into Drew resulted in B2B turnovers.

We don't show high on P&R's anymore with Drew. We show low and give the team the midrange J. Spurs weren't making mid-range J's in San Antonio. They're making them tonight.

To be fair to him, every time he does show, the perimeter guys don't recover and he's left on an island defending the opposing teams perimeter player and our small guys are left on their bigs.

He's in a lose lose situation no matter what he does. It's not his fault our perimeter guys aside from MWP/Barnes, are treating pick and rolls like the plague.

Good thing this counts for only one game. We'll see what kind of heart the Lakers have in the 2nd half. I doubt they'll come back and win, but they better not lay down and lose by 30.

I just wanna see some desire out there. Get back to fundamentals and stop playing so sloppy. Play defense like they can. They do that, and who knows? The only way to come back from such a large deficit is to get stops.
