This is poorly draw up play by the Lakers, Popovich is the different here

Pau should have called time out. but had balls to shoot that. Kobe was open for a quick but for layup.

considering everything I was surprised with how close it was. should have won but whatever. Dwight needs to work on his handles. getting stripped SO much!

We need Nash at PG badly.

Did Kobe take a shot in last 5 mins ?

Pau actually did the right thing there...he took the open shot which he can make. The pass out was much riskier.

I'm glad it was competitive against a good team for a change, it's a good sign, but there is no moral victory, we NEEDED a win. Now instead of being back at .500 we're back to 2 games under, still a hole to dig out of. Can't believe Kobe actually played PG a lot of that quarter.

I didn't expect us to even be as competitive as we were against them. And considering how bad Dwight and Pau played, along with the injuries to Nash and Blake, I'm surprised we were even close.

That wasn't Pau's fault IMO. Kobe never got open, it was a poorly drawn play. If we had Nash or any decent Pg in there we would have two options to go to there.

Kobe wasn't shooting the end of the game. trying to give others a chance. not pissed at the loss.

I at least feel better about our ability to compete against an elite team. So close but couldn't finish out the game.

Still have to make an open shot.... and we got two in both possessions, and our guys missed.

People are going to blame Pau because he missed simple as that. If he made it people would have commended him for not making a dangerous pass to Kobe and taking it upon himself to make the shot. You guys that are denigrating him are just stupid

At the end of the day it's just a regular season game and we played better. Not a big deal

Realistically, when you have ever actually seen that happen? Oh, let me call a timeout with 3 secs left on the clock.
