what does that say about the team?
he has now 44+ in 3 consecutive games and tomorrow its going to be similar

Geesh.
Even Iverson, who had 46 points tonight, was 16/25.

Lakers win by double d's.
The Blazers are an NBA team. Blazers have beaten the Sixers (95 - 91) and Wolves (91 - 83).
Regardless of what their record says: Ruben has been thinking of this matchup for a week. Mentioning having "Kobe on Wednesday" last week. You don't think they prepared for him? You don't think they can't beat us? They beat us last year!!!!! Without Zach Randolph.

hopefully lamar steps up tonight...who on that team could deal with an aggressive lamar?
They've beaten Iverson and Garnett, they're not going to roll over and waive the white flag because it's the Lakers. Why does everyone put emphasis on the Cleveland matchup? They don't play defense. It's not like it's against Miami. The Knicks beat them (in Cleveland).
jminges-- i agree with you...although i do feel that kobe will extra hyped for the lebron game...and i think it's fair to say that if lamar steps up today, kobe can rest a little and play the game he likes to play tomorrow...without larry hughes, i think the lakers have a really good chance of beating cleveland. even with him destroying smush/sasha, we should be able to beat them at home...
let's hope that minny, utah, and others with similar records or slightly better than us lose tonight....helps our standings
