Did You Know?
- Bryant's 45 points against the Pacers represented the fourth straight game he reached or eclipsed that mark, with three of those games coming in the last four days, and second only to Wilt Chamberlain. Historic.

Kobe will continue his 40 plus streak...lakers will continue their winning streak...but they must come back the next night and bring their A game cuz cleveland is coming to town and Kobe needs to drop 50 on Bron Bron! But anyway...Lakers should get this one...they must not overlook the blazers...they've lost 6 straight but u know how everyone gets fired up against the lakers and ppl seem to break their losing streaks against us

Kobe Bryant's in a vintage groove, and it's sweet music to the Lakers. Bryant became the second player to hit 45 points in four straight games, doing so in a 96-90 win Monday over the Pacers. The feat also was done by Wilt, who did it last in '64.

Let's get the win. Do what you must Ocho.

over the last 3 games, kobe is averaging:

47.0 pts, 49%FG/ 9.3 rebs/ 5.0 ast/ 57% 3FG/1.3 stls with 3W's!

those are beyond MVP numbers....

well we have to BLOW Portland out to rest the starters because I want to win against Cleveland.
Kobe usually brings his A game when he plays in the rose garden. I mean he has averaged 47 in 3 games coming in 4 days. Thats just insane. He didn´t get a break in the second half for the second consecutive game. We have to blow some crappy teams out in order to give him some rest.

I think Kobe is going to hit 40pts by the end of 3rd quarter :jam2:

Because vs Cavs its a back-2-back and Cavs are pretty tough so Kobe is gonna drop 47pts against them so he's gonna need alot of rest in the Blazers game. :man12:

im worried about this game. Blazers havent been winning lately but they have playing hard. Zach Randolp is always tough to guard. And Ruben is gonna be extra prepared for Kobe.

We just have to not underrate them coming in. Dont play to their level.

this should be an easy one for the lakers. I think Kobe will get his 5th consecutive 45+ point game and the lakers will win in a close one because we wont have a 2nd go to MAN.

check out patterson's quotes:

Ruben Patterson has never had a better opportunity to live up to his self-proclaimed nickname as the "Kobe Stopper."

Patterson will be looking to shut down Bryant, his Los Angeles teammate when he was a rookie in 1998-99. The duo used to face off in practice, and Patterson said he was motivated to play hard because Bryant was arrogant.

After the Lakers decided to let Patterson go after one season, he declared himself the "Kobe Stopper."

"Every time he sees me, he fears me," Patterson said.
